  1. Good luck, della8301!! You'll do great!!!
  2. Hi fellow "bandsters". I was banded 14 days ago today and feel like it was the best decision I have ever made!! I am so excited to be starting my new life!! :0) I feel like I have gotten the "making healthy food choices" down, but its the exercise part that I struggle with. I use my wii and my Xbox kinect to exercise occasionally, but I find it hard to get motivated. After 37 years, I know myself pretty well and I know I need some accountability. :0) I NEED someone to have meet to walk or exercise with. Whether its through the park, at the gym, or around the mall, around a track or just down the street knowing someone is depending on me to show up will get me there and motivated. I am the queen of excuses when there's no one waiting for me to exercise with…just ask my dog. Lol That being said, is there anyone in the Princeton, Trenton, Hamilton NJ aren't hat would like to meet up on a regular basis and exercise? It doesn't have to be at a gym, organized, or even strenuous. Just some regularly scheduled physical activity that can boost our metabolism and our weight loss.
  3. Soooo glad I read this thread. I thought I was crazy!! I have been losing weight pretty steadily and am 11 days post banding. I can move to a soft diet on Thursday and a Regular diet the next week. I am exercising and drinking plenty of water, but I am hungry. I feel like I could eat a regular sized portion. Guess I just entered Bander's Hell. Glad to be here, but definitely hope I don't have to stay very long. :0)
  4. My doctor told me that I would plateau on "mushies". He was right. I was banded on 3-22 and have lost 11lbs since then. However, none in the last 4 days. :0(. Maybe the weight loss will increase with my first fill. I'm also increasing my exercising. Keep up with the program. We can do it!!!!
