I have an app Map My Walk and it has helped me tremendously to track my route, time and calories burned. Also Fitness Pal is great. Weekends for me are the toughest at not having no motivation and I tend to graze on those days also! Just start out walking even just ten minutes! If I can do it anyone can! Good luck!

What a life changing experience having my Lap-Band has been!! I have lost 110lbs since being banded July 23. People have said I don't even look like the same person. Although, I always see the inner fat girl, haha. I have been obese since childhood & I haven't always had much self-confidence. The last 2 months or so, I have noticed an increase in attention from many of my male co-workers. I am blown away by the increase in this extra attention & honestly, I am loving it!!! It gives me such a boost of confidence & I start thinking, "maybe I am good looking!" lol.

I've never had it, and I've only seen one other on this forum who had a dilated pouch. For most of us it would be very painful to continually overfill our pouch, so I don't think it's a very common problem with the band.

Ugh! I get my first fill on the 17th. When I first joined the this awesome lapBand group I always wondered what Bandster Hell was but I am know living it!! I was banded on March 21 and if it weren't for my incisions I would think that I had never had a band! Restrictions!...What restrictions? But I can say that I do have more energy from not eating junk and heavy food and can see a difference in my body as well.... And I am staying off the scale to avoid disappointment. I love these forums they have helped me tremendously an everyone is so helpful:)

I was just banded on 3-21-13. I lost 18lbs on my own from Jan- March and have lost 12 lbs since surgery. No weight loss for 2 weeks but my body is changing! Dont mind the funny face on last pic!

I had a four hour drive after my surgery on March 21st in which my husband drove me. I would suggest pillows and a blanket. I had a very comfortable ride back home due to still being sedated from surgery, I was awake about 5 minutes when I got in the car and fell asleep right away and slept all the way home. Asked Dr. If I needed to stop and walk and he said it was fine if I didn't. Make sure you have your pain meds and nausea meds which I only took my pain meds 3 hours after I left hospital. Also I wish I would have had Chapstick for my lips and saline spray for my nose which was horribly dry. Best of luck to you:)

So glad it's not just me feeling like I don't even have a band on I am 10 days post-opt and all swelling is gone and my hunger is just crazy stupid!!! But I'm hanging in there taking it one day at a time.

I am also 9 days post-opt, and can't feel my band and no soreness and can actually lay on my stomach finally. I can actually drink more Water than before to where it makes me wonder if I even have a band on lol. And my hunger has come with avengance but trying to stick with my post-opt diet. Nice to know I'm not the only one feeling this way:)

Got banded this morning. I'm a little sore not much pain. The discomfort seems to be from the gas which is not too bad. Been sipping liquids and the overall experience so far has been very satisfying but I know it has only been about ten hours. Did any one else get banded today?

Aeromech..... Glad to know that bit of info:) kinda not looking forward to the Constipation part of this whole thing but at least we know it has to get better:)

Congrats! Glad to hear you are doing so well fresh out of surgery! I am scheduled for April 5th and can't wait. Hope your recovery is a breeze!!! Keep us posted on your progress!!!
