  1. That is disgusting. A man's life is ruined because someone didnt know the meaning of a one night stand. I understand it was unprofessional of him but I guarentee it if they were still "together" there wouldn't be an issue. Or if she knew someone who she just met overseas doesn't want a relationship.


  2. As long as he knows he will be the one driving I dont see an issue. Nj to nc is far but easily a day trip so walking shouldnt be an issue as you can easily walk before you leave and when you arrive in NC. I was back to work at day 5 but could have easily gone back at day 3 or 4. That being said everyone is different. If your going to relax at the beach on your vaca I see no problem but if you are thrill seekers id wait


  3. I truly don't understand how people are losing so much post surgery. Is it because they haven't restricted their calories and carbs and yo-yo dieted for years? I would imagine if I was eating several thousand calories before surgery I might be losing quicker. Oh well' date=' nothing I can do now but be grateful for the 40 lbs I have lost in the last 6 months.

    I was eating 1200 calories before surgery (not a lot) and am now eating significantly less. Everyone loses at their own pace.


  4. Your story made me cry because I am just like you. I have been working out religiously for the last 3-4 years.. 5-6 days per week, seeing a personal trainer 2-3 days per week and not shedding a pound. At first I gained weight too when eating 1400-1600 calories (which is what someone at my weight should be eating to lose) . Then my nut told me to go down to 1200, didn't gain but didn't lose either. I felt like I was just going to the gym so I wouldn't gain which was inspiration enough for me. 1000 calories made me lose but i felt like ****. I sprained my ankle this year and couldn't work out for 2 weeks and gained 10lbs! That was, for me, the straw that broke the camels back. Sorry for my long story because this is about you. You are such an inspiration...keep us updated.


  5. Haha nothing is tmi on this site I think. That's really interesting. I'm not sure why that would be the case...are you aroused with all this wetness or is just kinda your baseline? And is it all the time? The reason I ask is bc when ovulating its normal for your vagina to produce more lubricant...and if you have lost a lot of weight your body (like mine) may be responding by jumping back into ovulating cycles. When we are overweight many become anovulatory so it may be your body kicking back into fertile mode. This is purely my guess...

    No not aroused at all lol. But I'm on bc didn't think I could be ovulating. I'm seeing my gyno this week ill ask. Thanks

    I think u just have to be careful. A lot of people hes seen were infertile because of their weight so figured they didn't need to take any precautions. I am only 23 so I havent actually tried. Not saying 23 or younger you can't have kids I'm just not at that pt yet. I'm not making my fiance where a condom but he is having fun finishing on other parts of my body haha tmi


  7. Its very possible that its irregular but without getting too much in your business, if your sexually active you need to make sure you use extra protection. My dr says the rate of weight loss even people on bc can get pregnant so to use condoms and be extra careful during your weight loss pd. Not trying to scare you just being real. But most likely its an irregular period due to changing hormones


  8. I am almost 6 weeks out and have no problem getting 60g of Protein and 600 calories. You should be getting at least 60g of protein! You should talk to your NUT. Try eggs' date=' cheese sticks, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, canned tuna/chicken. Good luck![/quote']

    My nut and dr said both are impossible on the drs diet this far out. I can eat 2oz 3x per day so even if that is chicken or beef it gets no where close to 60g. I'm not complaining though the weight is coming off lol

    Edit: and to add I'm afraid of adding too many calories because 1200 pre op is what I ate daily for a few years and that's how I maintained so I dont wanna get back up there so soon


  9. Hi I just had my sleeve on 6\26. I am drinking Water (1 oz every 10 minutes) and drinking protien drinks. It only takes 3 drinks to reach protien goal but falls short of calories. What are you supplementing for calories?is the 1 oz at a time of Water all my sleeve can tolerate?

    You have a calorie goal that soon out? Do you mind me asking what it is? I'm getting at most 30g of Protein a day and 300 calories. I'm 5.5 weeks out

    If you have lost a substantial amount of weight you can be experiencing decreased vaginal lubrication bc you have less estrogen (fat 'makes' estrogen). Keep giving it a try and hopefully it'll get better![/quote']

    Different person and sorry if its tmi but ive noticed more lubrication. I guess I can post another thread about this but I feel "wet" all the time even when not arroused. Its not wet like all over me like I peed my pants and its not a discharge..but honestly think its vaginal lubrication. .is this normal? Sorry that was embarassing asking


  11. Yeah I probably will talk to my gyno. I think the pelvic thing bothers me the most. I have always had pain in certain positions (tilted uterus) so from behind is pretty much a no go.

    Me too! I dont have a tilted uterus or I dont think so but I was told I had a short vagina by my gyno and my fiance has a large member lol...so same with the behind. Honestly I google positions with less penetration haha.

    Edit: also I haven't noticed a change yet post surgery


  12. Sex is actually really painful for me now. I had great sex before surgery with my boyfriend. Since my surgery (may 22nd) my vagina hurts the whole time. I believe it's because I lost weight on the outside of my vagina. I can feel our pelvic bones grinding and it's uncomfortable. My boyfriends penis also goes so much deeper' date=' which normally wouldn't be a bad thing but for me it's still too much. I want to like sex again but right now it's uncomfortable.

    You should talk to your gyn...ive heard that that happens but not til way later in the weight loss


  13. FastDiet is 5:2. Five "normal" days. 2 Fast days withal 500 calories. Book says 25% of TTEE bit sleevers generally don't eat the 2000 they base the 500 on. We are all following the 500 women/600 men method. Better to NOT be consecutive for us. 12 hour "rest" preferred for maximum fat burning. For example' date=' the day before your fast you eat at 7pm nothing else till morning. If you ate at breakfast at 7 you would have a 12 hour window. Eat your small meal, Protein Shake or whatever works for you (I do oats) others do Greek yogurt, eggs, cheese/veggies. If you need to small snack mid day then dinner 7 or so. No more then you would have another 12 hour window Tim the next morning. I eat usually late morning or mid day who h means I have a longer rest to start then small snack and that leaves me around 300-350 calories for dinner. Grilled chicken stirfry, Tina salad, lean cuisine. Whatever works for you. Maybe some fresh fruit. Done. Then next day NORMAL for you. I fast Tues/Thurs. others do Mon/Thurs to spread out days. I have completed 3 weeks. Lost 14 pounds. Been lucky. Average weight loss 1-2 week. I am being very conscious of everything in ALL days. Logging all in MFP and exercising 30 mins ( big for me!) most days. Lifestyle. Don't even really think about it at this stage. Not hard for me at all. Others say otherwise. But THIS will be my maintenance. Once reach goal again (6-7 lbs) want to get down below to have 2-3 lb bounce and then it's just life or 6:1 if I think I can keep it off that way. I have small treats usually once a week during social events. I eat CLEAN and healthier and MUCH less on normal days. Sleeve has really shown up again and true hunger. There you have it.     Thank you ..is this something you do way later in post op? I'm a month and a week out..I'm only eating between 200-300 calories a day now
