  1. Hey' date=' I was sleeved on the 7th. I'm feeling really good. I have had 2 days where my energy level was way down. 6 days after surgery I was down 8lbs, I took the scale to my moms so I can stop weighing myself every other day but, I feel weight or inches coming off. People I haven't seen in 3 weeks said I was looking good and they see it coming off.

These Protein Shakes, huh! I've bout had it. I'm on phase 2, which is puréed foods- getting boring- and I have to do this for 2-3 weeks. Phase 3 I get introduced to deli meats, some fruits and vegetables, saltine crackers, and Peanut Butter. Can't wait.[/quote']

I was sleeved last Tuesday and let me tell you i was worried and scared for nothing!! I mean its no walk in the park but it's not terrible. liquid are getting super boring!! I see the surgeon again Monday. Wishing all the May sleevers a easy surgery and quick

    Recovery!!!

  2. Okay so while in the hospital I was given hemprin shots every 8 hours for the two days I was their. My doctors sent me with a prescription to five lovenox injections. The nurse did not understand why I needed this, and said that the shots at the hospital should be enough. My surgeon said they make everyone over 50 bmi do it, i was at 51. The thing is my gums have started bleeding and my legs keep getting numb! Should i stop these shot i don't want a blood clot but idk if these shots are doing me ill!!

  3. I was sleeved on Tuesday and doing great! I'm not ready to run a marathon by any means' date=' but the pain is tolerable. I slept 8 straight hours last night, so this morning was very painful, trying to get out of bed. So....tonight, I'm going to set my alarm half way through the night, so I can walk around the house and sip, sip, sip. 8 hours of not drinking or walking was way too long! My bed just felt so good after two nights in a uncomfortable hospital bed.

The recovery is not as bad as my hysterectomy, but more painful than my Lapband. So....really not bad at all![/quote']

I was sleeved in Tuesay and feel the same way you do for the most part.

  4. Feeling much, much better. Do move arounds and still no farting lol they were concerned with that at the hospital but once i passed a few bowel movements they seemed not to be as concerned. Im sipping away and a little discomfort but pain. Thanks to all those that talk off the ledge for the most it was pretty easy. So far no buyers remorse!!
