  1. I completely disagree with that statement! I am NOT too lazy to cook and I don't eat out all of the time and I use MFP each and every day. What a completely ridiculous statement you just made here. Sounds to me like an excuse to not log your food...

Maybe you might be "too lazy" to bother weighing and measuring ingredients so you have accurate calorie counts on recipes.

I agree. I rarely eat out and I log my food on mfp. If u cook at home how hard is it to scan each item or look up veggies? I like it because I know what I'm putting into my body. Some things have more calories than you think so I log it to be sure.

  2. I talked to my lapband nurse and she thinks that I did too much too soon with my workout. I was pretty rigorous with my heart rate between 150 - 167. She said to relax and if its better by tomorrow then we know that's what it was but to go to the er if I start to struggle with breathing. My only concern Is that I did have leg pain after surgery and I thought they may have bruised me when I was moved to my recovery bed. But now I'm worried it was clots.

  3. I stopped having gas pains two weeks ago. Yesterday morning I started having chest pain on the left side. It hurts when I breath deep. I know they say to walk ... well I worked my butt off at the gym lastnight. No pain during the work out but once I got home it was back. And today I feel like someone is squeezing my heart. I take gas x too but man I feel like I can't function. Is it just gas or something more? I left a vm with the nurse and hope to hear back soon.

  4. I'm a newbie so maybe I shouldnt comment but maybe start logging your food with my fitness pal. I didn't realize how many calories I was taking in until I logged it. A workout friend can help u get back to the gym or just out moving. Its easier for me to go when I have a buddy. . . Good luck!:)

  5. I propped up pillows tall on bed and just leaned up against them on my side on the 2 days I was super sick. I couldnt lay on my right side at all! But I laid on left side an proppe pillow under stomach. It was still uncomfortable for a few minutes until I relaxed and stopped freaking out.

They gave me pills for pain and later an rx for zofran pills! They were hard to swallow!

My throat was so sore on days 2-6 from tube! It was raw! I hope you arent getting strep! I would call your band doc and tell them you think you have it- he/she should take care of thise things because they know what they want you to have.

    Hope you feel better soon!

  6. Hope you soon get some relief astott626' date=' , got my band on Tues(3/26) and have been pretty lucky with the gas pains. Have a pain today in the middle of my back which has been the worst of it. Struggling with the blues for some reason. Thinking its a combination of this miserable winter that will not end and the after effects of the anesthesia. Anxious to get to a real scale and see if I have any more off.Was down 19 from the preop diet. Best of luck!![/quote']

Awesome job on the pre op loss! I think spring will help with having the blues I get that way too especially right now while I'm not able to get around much. I wish u the best of luck also! Thanks

  7. I was banded last week and I slept with pillows from day one. I tucked one under my belly and between my legs. I felt more uncomfortable on my back. By the third day I was able to do it on my left side too. Now the getting out of bed was another story' date=' LOL!!

Try several positions and I hope one works for a good nights sleep for you!![/quote']

Just getting onto my side is painful. I feel the burning at my left incision so I wimp out and stay on my back. Lol maybe ill try again tonight
