Congratulations! May you have a long joyous life together!!! Tara
  2. It has not been easy. I do my best to stay with 2 protein shakes and then a sensible dinner. So far I have not gain. July cannot get here soon enough haha! Tara
  3. Thank you so much I truly appreciate this advice! Tara
  4. I'm sorry I just saw this. Tara
  5. I recently had all my fluid removed until July so I know the struggle. I've been doing protein drinks for breakfast and lunch then a dinner but I've made sure all is heavy with protein which has helped keep me from being hungry Tara
  6. No the ER was not knowledgeable of the band luckily they have a bariatric surgeon who was called in. He advised me the band is becoming less and less. But he has a few patients still and is going to take care of me. My doctors at True Results are no longer as they closed down and my doctor I had well I found she was not knowledgeable and that is why I ended up in the ER. My band has had all fluid removed until July to let my stomach heal and it is a struggle everyday but I am pleased I am healing and alive to have a struggle. Thankful every day. Tara
  7. Update... Ended up in the ER, ran test and had to have all fluid removed. Band and port are in great place I just need my stomach to heal. Tara
  8. Unsure if it's acid reflux or something else. I traveled and my band tightened. I came home and it got better. I caught a cold and I haven't eaten as my throat was too sore. Since 3am I have been vomiting a brown liquid. If I lay down its worse, it comes up and I can taste blood. I've never had this happen. No Dr. available I would have to go to the ER. Tara
  9. I've read that having fluid removed for a period of time can help the band go back into place. Have you tried this
  10. Im from Arizona and traveled to Utah, Colorado and Wyoming in one week. I couldn't eat and could barely drink. I am home now and thought it would get better but things are the same. Now I have acid reflux at night and all day. I hate this. I've lost weight but it's water I know I'm dehydrated. I'm going to the Dr tomorrow but I'm concerned that getting fluid removed will cause me to gain and I've worked so hard. Has anyone ever had issues with traveling and your band tightening?
  11. I never thought to jump up and down. Though I'm feeling much better I am going to keep that in mind if I get stuck again.
  12. Thank you all so much. I usually have my chewables but I had forgotten them and didn't want to miss which I know now to miss is better. So far coffee has helped and warm water. I remembered nothing bigger than your pinky nail which it was a little bigger but solid which I had coffee with figuring it would help dissolve. Lesson learned the hard way.
  13. I was visiting my daughter forgot my vitamins so took one of hers and it got stuck. I can tell I'm still irritated from it as I cannot eat anything solid and first thing in the morning even liquid is hard. I live 3 1/2 hours from my doctor so I was hoping for any suggestions.
  14. Thank you all so much for the feed back. I feel pretty good today but I've only had coffee so far.
  15. I was eating chicken and I didn't chew right, it got stuck and then came back up. I have never had this happen and I feel fine but I'm worried. What should I do?
  16. I know that several of us visit the chiropractor for adjustments but with losing the weight did you need to go more often? I have had issues with my hip and knee for quiet sometime but since losing weight it seems worse. I've been adjusted twice this week and I'm out again. It's frustrating
  17. When you need or require antibiotics should it be liquid or can we take tablets??? My primary physician is not familiar with lap band and my surgeon is not available .... So I am turning to those with great knowledge. Help!!!
  18. So proud of you and jealous as well I have almost lost 20 so I'm not far behind. I see the Dr on Thursday so I'm really excited for that. I started following you on Instagram. Have a great day
  19. Now that I can lay on my stomached do you think it's safe to see the Chiropractor? It's been one month since surgery but my hips are out and I'm in pain.
