  2. I was banded Friday the 22nd, the gas pains are starting to feel better today 5 days post op. Walking did help, I tried Gas x it did not work for me. The gas got trapped around my upper chest area making it extremely hard to breath in, but I just continued on with my breathing exercises, and slept with a heating pad. I made sure to walk each day. Last night I was starting to wonder why I did this but today has been a much better day!! Thank God!

  4. Ok so seems standard! Cool! Thanks!
  5. They used steri strips instead of stitches or glue.
  6. Ya one of them is a larger one. I have had laparoscopic surgery 4 Times before do when they explained it initially I understood. So wasn't expecting 5 incisions lol
  7. Yes I'm sure the pain while breathing in is the gas. Its not moving out quickly lol.
  8. I'm just wondering why they did 5 instead if 3?
  9. I was told I would have 3 incisions, one in my belly button and two more small ones. When I got home I realized I have 5 incisions all above my belly button. Anyone else????
  10. My dr put on an anti nausea patch on and also prescribed phenergan suppositories.
  11. I was banded yesterday (Friday) & I have 5 incision all above my belly button. They all hurt and it hurts most when I breath in. Anyone have this?

  13. I am as well having the hernia repair while being banded. I'm glad I had the hernia otherwise insurance wasn't going to cover it
  14. My surgery date is this Friday the 22nd. I'm using true results Houston. Dr Reilly. The have been great, the only thing after reading on here is I don't feel like the explained post op very well. Like the "green zone", how often for fills, if they use fluro fill etc... but otherwise great so far!

  16. Im scheduled for surgery this Friday March 22nd at True Results in Houston! Im so glad to find other people who have also been banded there! For you folks who are a year or a few months, how has it been? How long did it take to get in the green zone, and how is TRue results on doing fills?
  17. These are great questions! I'm going to call my drs office and ask sone of these! Because my surgery is next week and I wasn't even aware until these boards that they may not fill the band and you may not hit the green zone for months!!

  21.    CM77539 reacted to a post in a topic: Why am I so scared to not eat?
  22. I think I worded that wrong, Im not afraid of never eating again, I know I will be able to eat in moderation, maybe Im more afraid of failing, of WANTING to eat more than I should, or actually eating more than I should and screwing things up. I dont really eat to cover up negative feelings, I eat out of boardem! I initially gained the weight because of pregnancy, I was always thin before. I just love food and love to eat! I lost alot of weight and then developed hypothyroidism and gained a bunch of weight back and havent been successful in sticking to any eating plan or diet.
