Ok Ok I should have known better but I felt so good yesterday. :faint: Banded on the 3rd and I felt great by Monday . No pains at all. Very little tenderness. I even slept on my stomach again. So why not do some laundry, groceries and attend my daughter's music concert where I had to stand for over 1 hr. Bad Bad girl!!!!!:omg: :omg: I am feeling it today!!!! Suddenly alot more sore and tender. Hope fully this will get better as I am most certainly babying myself today:notagree :notagree . Do not make the same mistakes as I and take care of yourselves:) Joanne

    Interested but many questions

Sorry Kim but I too do not think this is something you can keep from your hubby. I would suggest you arm yourself with as much knowledge as to the procedure itself as well as all the reasons you feel that this is a good option for you. I myself try to look at the cost as the same as 2 Timmy's coffee per day for the next 20 years. I know if may sound silly but your health is worth it. I will keep you in my thoughts and I wish you good health.:peace: Joanne

    Dr. Yau or Dr. Cobourn/Mumford?

Hi Cat I am scheduled for surgury with Dr. Mumford on May 3rd. I have heard wonderful things about all three doctors. You could look at the website RateMDs.com to see what other people have written regarding each of them. I would also consider how convenient their respective locations are. Dr. C/Dr.M are more in the suburbs near Toronto and more convenient from the airport if you are renting a car. If you are planning to use public transit and you are planning to stay right in the city it may be better to consider Dr. Yau. If it appears to you that they are more or less the same then it becomes more a practical decision for the surgury and, as Leslie said, for the fills and post -op. Good luck with your decision Joanne

    I have my surgery date!

Hi :heh: I am having a bit of a problem as to who to tell. So far I have only told my husband and mom. I am not to sure how much I should tell my kids (ages 15,17,19). I sometimes think I will say nothing and then other times I want to tell them. Any thoughts? Do you bandsters think I will be able to hide it from them, or will they notice my soreness?:girl_hug: :help:
