  2. I think it is time for a merge. You know that Stef has an alliance with Tom, Ian, and Katey on Koror? I just found that out the other night. And why would they keep Katey over the other women? I can't stand her. EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! If anyone should win this thing it should be Stef. She has worked the hardest and longest on this show. GO STEF!!!!!!!

  4. :D :banana :banana :banana :banana Hooray Mom went home today from the hospital. They gave her antibiotics to take while at home. She sounded really good on the phone. I plan on going to see her on Sunday for the day. I am so thankful for her she is my inspiration and my support and simple the most wonderful woman I know. I get my strength from her and my intelligence. She inspires me to be a better person. She is my heart.
  5. I am planning on doing some research on this new male escort business to buy. LOL!! Who wants to do the research with me? Paula: I don't have any good tips other than to save your money as much as you can. IT doesn't go as far as we would like.

  8. Praise the lord. I am so happy for you.
  9. I lost about 22 lbs in my pre fill time. I have not gained any of it back. It was three months prior to my first fill and I lost weight that entire time. I have periods where I gain 1 to 5 lbs but then I get back on track and it comes off plus more. Hope this helps.
  10. Nykee: PLEASE please go call your doctor. The fever suggests that you have some sort of infection brewing. The redness also suggests it is brewing in your abdominal cavity. I had the same thing the same redness. This is not something to mess with. Call whoever you need to be seen immediately. You might need the port removed. Might even need an endoscopy to look at the band to make sure nothing is going on there.
  11. Do do do do dododi do do. DO THE HUSTLE!!! I love that song. I used to dance to it all the time.

  19. OK, yes this is a beehive. Yes this was in the EAVE of our rental house. Yes it was that big. The size was estimated at around 2 feet in diameter and held approximately 5000 bees. They had to tear off some shingles, gas the bees to kill the queen, let that set for a day or two, then come back and remove the dead bees and the hive. The tenant said the honey was dripping down from the eave like a waterfall. If it hadn't been full of the gas poison she would have collected it. Last summer we couldn't understand how we kept having all these bees flying around while we were outside by the pool. Then we realized there must be a beehive close by. Who'd a thunk it was in our house next door? LOL!!! Enjoy the pics.
  20. Donali: You never cease to amaze and astound me. I love you knowledge and I have missed reading your posts. I agree with Donali here. I have been banded a year so far. I am still losing. Slower but still losing. I have learned that what worked in the beginning is not working for me now. I have to change my eating patterns and increase my exercise routine to continue to lose. The way I look at it my body gets used to the routines and then decides ok this is good right here right now and I ain't doing anything else. Then I have to jump start or shock my system into realizing it needs to lose more. Then it does. This is a "tool" we have to work with to lose. It won't do the work for us. We have to help it along the way.
  21. Hey Heather did you take your measurements before or right after banding? That is how I gauge my progress at times when the scale isn't my friend. To date I have lost 31 inches total. So lbs lost is great but those inches is wonderful too. HUGE CONGRATS on the body fat % loss
  22. The neosporin will eat the glue as well. SO be extra careful putting it on the glue areas. I learned this the hard way. Thank goodness the only incision affected was the port one but that was already opening up anyway. I had my incisions draining for days before they finally closed on their own. YEs I was told to let the Water drain over the incisions and to not be aggressive with cleaning those areas. Pat them dry. And let them air dry.
  23. Kelly it was at a University there for the college kids.
  24. Yeah Kellymoos is back. ABOUT TIME!! I hate moving. When John and I moved from Nashville to Los Angeles 5 years ago it was a nightmare. We hired a moving company for 95% of the house. You know one of those semi trailers full of our things. SIGH!! Then we had the van full of more of our things we wanted to take ourselves. The sentimental things that couldn't be replaced you like my grandmother's framed needlework, or my other grandmother's hand quilted blanket and for John his um,... er,... well,... PA system. LOL!! Yeah he is real sentimental HUH. Well in fairness he has a gig in Texas on the way. LOL!! We left Nashville and I immediately before we hit Memphis started running a fever of 101 and had chills. YUP!! We both got sick with the flu while on the road and playing and moving. SIGH!! It was horrible. But we got there and then we collapsed for three days recuperating from the flu. Did I mention I hate moving?
  25. Bright I would have to kick your arse if you blew us off for some stupid wedding. No I take that back I would just have to come to Ireland and invade your place. LOL!!! I still wanna do that one day. I have always wanted to visit Ireland. Just give me time.
