  1. Loads of white light sent your way. Prayers coming as well. Come and post when you feel up to it. HUGS
  2. Brown mucous looking slime is NOT good. COuld be old blood. Watch this closely and if it happens again you should report it to Kuri. I would in fact report it to him anyway. Slime should not have any color other than what you are bringing up. If you had drank a few sips of tea then the slime would be a brownish color. Please don't take any chances. WORRIED about you girl!
  3. Just above the lines and dots.
  4. Here is my pic. Can't see one of my scars. I had to look at my belly to see mine anyway. The only one that is still easy to see is the port incision. But even it is not bad. I have been banded a whole year.
  5. Thanks Donali for spelling it out. I think drinking Milk or something like that to buffer the NSAID's is a GREAT idea. In fact it is advisable.
  6. Rebecca: We are not supposed to take any Anti-Inflammatory once banded due to the irritation it can cause the stomach lining. So be very careful taking that pill.
  7. OK what the heck is a YODEL?? Good for you for realizing how important it is to look at the labels now. That will be our savior everytime. At least it is for me.
  8. WHEW!!! So glad that you are doing much better Katie. Come and post when you feel up to it. HUGS!!!!!!
  9. Glad you are on the mend. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
  10. I use Senokot and it works great for me. But honestly, you don't have much to get rid of either. And it takes a good while before the gut wakes up from the anesthesia. So give youself time to adjust before you start MAKING it do it's thang. LOL!! It takes a good 7 days for the gut to adjust back to normal. That is if you are eating normal food. We bandsters do not eat normal food for at least a month sometimes so the bowels are gonna be slow to react. Also, new bandsters still have the gas and bloating from the surgery being absorbed as well so that is another factor to take into consideration. TIME is what is needed. But if you are ready for an evacuation then I use Senokot. It is a natural remedy and it is not as harsh as Exlax or some of the others. You can get it at any drug store or walmart or target. Hope this helps
  11. Welcome back. Yup I agree this is the place for support. So vat es your ppppproblem?
  12. I think this is more serious than you think. 4 days without significant liquid intake will make you dehydrated. You should call Dr. Kuri back and let him know you can't even do liquids, ANY LIQUIDS. I hate to even mention this but the band could have slipped when you PB'd on the Jello. So call him again. Keep us posted. Worried about you girl.
  13. Tonight's show was awesome. I am pissed they voted off who they did. I think that person should have stayed and Katey should have gone. OH well!! Glad that the remaining member of Ulong is still in it.
  14. I thought about that but I have to make room NOW for my new clothes I just bought when my daughters visited the end of March. So closet space is a priceless commodity right now.
  15. so far three people have contacted me about the pants. So they are spoken for now. I will get them together and box them up when I get home. I will be flying home on April 26th so if you can wait till the first of May then I will get them shipped out to you guys. Send me your shipping address via my email. Penni60@aol.com
  16. Growing up on a farm there was all manor of animals. Cows, chickens, mules, sheep, pigs, ducks, cats, field mice, cocker spaniel, etc. I had all kinds of animal friends as a child. I got a pet duck for easter one year. It was so young we had to keep it inside close to the coal burning stove to keep warm. I kept it for a long long time. My cat, Missy, and the duck, Quackers used to play all the time together. Fond memories.
  17. Since I just went shopping when my two daughter's were visiting, I realized that I have about 15 pair of capri's size 22/24 that I need to get rid of. I also probably have some tops as well I can part with. So anyone need that size in tops or bottoms? PM me or email me at Penni60@aol.com
  18. Do a search on Lopez and Ortiz on this site. That should answer most if not all your questions. But I would be happy to fill you in on my experience of Lopez if you PM me.
  19. I kept thinking bizarre things. OVERTIME came to mind first. Then Old Tits that one had me laughing so hard. Then On Track. Then Oops Tilted or Oops Trapped. See where my mind was going anywhere but OFF TOPIC. LOL!!
  20. I know I will most likely laugh my head off but what does OT mean??

Who knew you DeLarla would read this before the show? I also forgot about the time difference. LOL!!!
  24. Kathy: BREATH!!! You will not dehydrate overnight. LOL!! I know how irritated your esophagus can get after a bad PB. But it will get better. I promise..
  25. Kathy: I don't think you vomited. I think it was a really really bad PB. And everytime you PB you usually get the soreness and swelling with the irritation. Take it easy and don't rush things. The warm liquids will help and don't rush going back to solids. IF you are continuing to feel bad then do call your doctor just to check in. It will get better with time.
