I felt that way even a month after. In addition to the surgical swelling and irritation, best guess was maybe there was too much fluid left in from priming the band. It did eventually go away, but now I also know what a fill feels like to me, and the memories post surgery come back. I think I just did not know what to expect- a foreign sensation. Good luck, hope you are on your way to feeling great!

Latte...mmmmmmmm

My understanding is that it is sutured in place. Odd that two different areas were filled if I understand you correctly. Fluoroscopy fill might be a good option?

Hi, it sounds like you are too tight, or irritated, or eating too much, or too late.. I think many more things could be added to this list...but tomorrow is Monday, hopefully your dr office is open and you can check in with them? In the meantime, you could go back to your liquids to give it a rest, and be sure to drink some water to rinse everything out half an hour before bed tonight! Good luck! That must be very uncomfortable!

I cannot answer your question about where it went or what to do. What I do know, is that not all patient records are completely accurate. Someone may have forgotten to write or enter a number, then guessed at the number when doing the final recording. Human error. I would wait that month out and see how it goes. There are days when my weight fluctuates 3-4 pounds from water retention etc., try not to get too caught up in the what ifs.. Good luck, hope you are now back on track!

Normal even after a year according to three friends who complain about it. Good luck! Looking at them, I'd say it was worth it! -
I had a bar code on a lipstick that kept triggering it. Lol!

First time back in the saddle after lap band
Kitt3000 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
If you are a horse enthusiast like myself, I wondered when I could safely ride my horse after the lap band procedure. Well, I did it! I brought my favorite horse out of the stall, groomed her, put my 40 pound saddle on her, with no pain from my guts (haha), stepped up, and went for a nice quiet ride. I don't know which one of us was happier! She had quite the attitude not getting out for an adventure, I was feeling a little fenced in myself.... Glowing! That would be me, and my best bud! -
First time back in the saddle after lap band
Kitt3000 replied to Kitt3000's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Since it's so hot right now, I'm not getting much riding done. I have been doing ground work to interact with them as well as grooming. I do worry about not getting in enough water with the band, when it's in the 90's everyday! Mostly, I trail ride and work in the arena. Western saddle is my favorite. A little reining, a little cutting. Not into competition, too much traveling! -

I have been looking for shift and A line dress patterns for summer sewing. This is what I found, in 1960, the measure chart on the back of the pattern package has me wearing a size between a 12 and-14 with my measurements taken yesterday. Size 12-14 On the Macys size chart for the same style dress with my measurements as of yesterday (2014), I should wear a size 2-4. What do you think about this? My first thought was the FB post someone sent about Marilyn Monrow being a size 12, the "average size of the modern American woman...uhhh nooooo! Her average size would be a 2-3 in today's sizing! Holy cow! Do you know how skinny they were back in the day??

Your calling the store reminds me that I am guilty- when I used to shop if it fit, if it was presentable- buy one in every color so that I did not have to continue to find something, anything. Now, I love to shop, but old habits are hard to break! I really have to stay focused that I only need one...! There are so many cute things in smaller sizes, why limit myself and budget, by purchasing repeats of the same thing! Welcome to your new size ! You've earned it!
