  1. In Richmond theres centers of excellence - I'd call the insurance company nurse line & see if theres any providers locally that they can refer her to. Many insurance companies offer that service for free-they'll even call the dr's office for you & make appointments for you.

( I work in medical field it happens at least once a week, even for the " crappy" insurances)

For the record, I was sleeved just over 2 weeks ago & haven't thrown up once.

    Somethings wrong.

    Stand strong.

    Don't give up!!!

  2. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm down 9#, on my ladies time & haven't lost since week one post op.

Dr. Wasn't impressed at 2 week check up :(

I'm doing under 800 cal a day & am on pureed now. Hitting Protein, Water, cal & carb goals so I guess I'll just keep on keeping on and hope for some action.

Yes, it does bother me to see people that have bigger numbers post op.

I am hoping to average 10# a month loss, so I guess i'm on track.

  3. Really good but I popped the stitch on the biggest incision which felt great as it was causing lots of pain which is now gone but as a result I have to be extra careful not to give myself a hernia- so dont strain when pooing- easy up & down w/ bed & chairs. Still have the lift restriction.

They glued me w/ dermabond & weren't very precise w/ it. One incision near bellybutton lifted up & the glue came off! My surgeon said its ok but keep it clean & dry.

I'm allergic to many adhesives so steri strips aren't an good option for me.

They itch like crazy- i lightly scratch around them but only over a t shirt.
