You blend such small amounts a bullet type blender w/ the small cups will work better.

I don't have this but I know there was at least one or two ladies here who did.
Use the search feature to find their profiles & then messsge them. Even if they haven't loghed in awhile I've had people get back to me.

Girl I'm in your boat! I'm on pureed & have same stats as you. Hw 228, sw:215 current : 205 and HOLDING!
I think because I was dieting before surgery I didnt have much liver left to shrink.
I'm getting 60 Protein, 700-800 cal & my waters good.
Hoping my stall will break. Havent lost since week 1 post op.

In Richmond theres centers of excellence - I'd call the insurance company nurse line & see if theres any providers locally that they can refer her to. Many insurance companies offer that service for free-they'll even call the dr's office for you & make appointments for you.
( I work in medical field it happens at least once a week, even for the " crappy" insurances)
For the record, I was sleeved just over 2 weeks ago & haven't thrown up once.
Somethings wrong.
Stand strong.
Don't give up!!!

I'm only 29 & I regret not doing this 10 years ago. I always always knew I'd eventually have wls. For me it was money & insurance not a desire problem.
I'm so happy to hopefully get this weight off. Even if I only make down to 150# & not my goal of 115 I'll be happy.
I've tried several diets & been miserable forever.

I ordered the onion & chive. We'll see how it goes! Can't eat them yet but they'll be ready when I am!

I used to watch it.
I hope the tv networks pay for his medications & eventual wls.
I know that they recently changed the focus of the show to him coaching others & not doing the challenges himself.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm down 9#, on my ladies time & haven't lost since week one post op.
Dr. Wasn't impressed at 2 week check up
I'm doing under 800 cal a day & am on pureed now. Hitting Protein, Water, cal & carb goals so I guess I'll just keep on keeping on and hope for some action.
Yes, it does bother me to see people that have bigger numbers post op.
I am hoping to average 10# a month loss, so I guess i'm on track.

We've taken to calling our one dog fattie because hes like dibbs whenever I can't finish something. However, they always get to lick the plates clean. At least after I'm done licking them clean.

Really good but I popped the stitch on the biggest incision which felt great as it was causing lots of pain which is now gone but as a result I have to be extra careful not to give myself a hernia- so dont strain when pooing- easy up & down w/ bed & chairs. Still have the lift restriction.
They glued me w/ dermabond & weren't very precise w/ it. One incision near bellybutton lifted up & the glue came off! My surgeon said its ok but keep it clean & dry.
I'm allergic to many adhesives so steri strips aren't an good option for me.
They itch like crazy- i lightly scratch around them but only over a t shirt.

They make make-up that'll cover up tattoos/scars etc. I think the ladies & ppl w/ less cheat hair would have more luck covering then the hairy guys.

I don't know of any surgeons who do loans directly w/o care credit.
Have you tried a small credit union? They are known to loan for medical expenses.
If not, then saving, second & third jobs & Mexico are probably your best bet.
However, theres a chance that obamacare may make his insurance offer coverage so you may just want to wait it out.

Best Soups with low fat, sugar, carbs please

Gasx strips at walgreens are your friend.
Never trust a fart.
Making your own Soups are a good option. Or you can get panera soups like french onion which are low fat & low cal if u skip croutons & cheese topping.
I ate so little that I got outback potatoe Soup & blended then thinned w/ extra milk.
