True! Our tummy has to heal. My doc advised me to do the full liquid diet and gradually to start eating solids. He gave a list of foods I should/ not eat. Do u want it?

Band or port? Might be gas or we u eating too much? My doc said that if I eat too much, I'm supposed to feel pressure.

Ur first fill will b by April, that should help u. Mine is also in April.

If u need a band buddy send mr pvt message and I ll give u my number. I stopped eating the wrong foods bc I know the band can slip and cause major medical problems for me. That's what motivates me not to eat the wrong foods. I DONT WANT 2 END UP IN THE HOSPITAL, I tell myself that every day!

I perfectly understand u... I'm there too. I was banded the 18 and I have been starving. I tried to follow my doc advise abt liquids only, but after 3 days I was eating meets and veggies. I didn't vomit, didn't feel sick at all. My doc told me that The band is in place but it doesnt have much liquids to stop food craving. i should get a fill in about 2 months and then the band will do its job and it will b easier for me to do mine. In the meantime, my band is just around my tummy until I get a fill. I'm starving, but I'm fighting it. I paid 9k for my band so I better do this.

Today I start my full liquid diet after doing liquids only for 7 days. My docs notes states that I could eat "sugar free" products, farina, cream of rice, ect. Does sugar free means "diet suggar" also, what kind of suggar are we allowed to consume? How can I make this farina?

A girl I talked to was having pain and her doc told her that she was dehydrated and needed more liquids, but we all are different. I know we are supposed to get pressure on our chest. Sometimes the pressure might hurt" lat night I had to sleep w two pillows to keep my head rally high and not feel the pressure. As always, we will recommend to call the doc. He owes u a phone call (w/in 24, 48hrs). Call him. Right now I'm starting to feel the pressure

Could b normal since u still have lots of gas in ur system. Is it pain or pressure?

Really? Mine hurts but I don't see it t all. My doc did mention that newbies don't get fills... We have to wait about 2 months for 1st fill. U should see ur doc ASAP.

I had no gas pain at all! After surgery I went to the mall and did some shopping. I released all that gas by walking. The next day I went to he airport to catch my flight and did a lot of walking. I do get a lot of pain where my port is. Get your meds before surgery and take them. Today is day 5 and I had some regular food. I was starving and had no energy. So far so good.

My port is next to my belly button, I have lots of pain.

I took a week. Everything was going well but today pain at port was killing me. I'm supposed to go back to work next Thursday.

Gosh, I'm feeling lists of pain where m port is. Will this pain ever go way? Anyone feel pain after months of surgery?

Anyone could tell what Protein to buy. One that taste good. Someone recommended me HerbaLife protein. Has anyone tried it? I'm having the same problem w my mom. She is staying for couple of days and she keeps on cooking and cooking. It's hard to say no.
