I just had one visit during which the therapist asked me questions about my weight-- how long obese, why I thought I couldn't lose weight on my own, why I wanted surgery. It was a good conversation.

First time out to eat since surgery 2/28. Trying grilled salmon and mashed cauliflower at ruby Tuesdays. Asked for the take out box with my meal. -
Ugh this needs to stop

I had the same thing last week and I also 5 weeks out. My doc put me on maloox liquid twice a day. It works really well and I am doing great. I also take a protonix. It's not reflux but the pouch is inflamed and the maloox calms it down. -
Before and after pics please

Kale, artichoke, ricotta egg bake. Very good. I could only eat a little but it was great to have some veggies! -

I am 56 and had the surgery 2/28/13 and also cannot tolerate shakes. My nut had me drink warm tea and stay on puréed food. I also take maloox twice a day and one protonix a day. I am able to eat soft foods now and got in 50 grams of Protein. Feeling really well!!! -

Half an Emily bites chicken parm muffin. Very yummy and easy to eat. Glad to be off puréed food and on soft foods. -
Try Old Navy. The xxl is a 2x and they have a lot of colors/styles of compression shorts.

I did have one jelly bean and one little chocolate egg and didn't feel the need to try anything else. That's a huge change for me. And frankly, the tiny little egg wasn't all that great. -

Scrambled egg with cheese. Actually about 2/3 of the egg. It's so hard to not eat too much. -
I am back on puréed food since my pouch is inflamed so I decided to do a little juice. 21/2carrots, one apple, 2 celery, handful each of kale and dandelion greens. Soooo good and 43 calories for 4 ounces. It makes 12 ounces so I will have more later. Lots of vitamins.

I was told I could swallow a pill roughly the size of an m and m. Maybe your doc will clear you to swallow the pill or give you the smaller version. -

1/2 cup of homemade chili. -
Loving! No one lives gas!! Moving that gas along.
-
Milk of magnesia works really well in loving that gas along. For me it was much better than gasx.
-
Milk of magnesia. Liquid of course. Take the largest dose then take a second dose in a few hours. It is the only thing that worked for me and my doc swears by it.

I used canned pink salmon (6 oz) , boneless, an egg and a tablespoon of bread crumbs, diced onion and salt, pepper. Then shaped into four small patties which I cooked in a frying pan on medium with Pam. Made sauce to keep moist-- some light sour cream mixed with dill and line juice. I could eat one with a little sauce. 67 cals and 11 grams protein. -
