  1. Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
  2. Awesome job! I have lost 34 lbs since my lap band surgery in February 2013. I feel like a totally different person now. I feel downright sexy compared to how I use to feel about myself. I just went shopping this past weekend and I could fit into a 14, I started at a 20. Talking about feeling great trying those dresses on! I can't wait for more experiences. Thanks for sharing!
  3. You are going to look and feel great! Nothing like the feeling of doing something that you couldn't do before. I finally fit back into my wedding dress! Which was one of my goals.
  4. I like that Body Fortress shakes at Walmart. They are only 20.00 too. For sure don't over buy..I did and I still have SF jello in the fridge, that I am pretty sure needs to be thrown out..lol.
  5. Yes, it will be sore for a day or so. It will go away. Be careful eating after the fill in too. I am sure they said to do liquids for 24-48 hours to give you time to adjust. Good luck!
  6. First of all Congrats! I hope that I am as blessed as you. I guess the first step would be to talk to maybe a nutrionist and your doctor. I personally liked the body fortress protein shake that you get at Walmart for around 20.00. It was really good mixed with coconut milk..tasted like a almond joy..yum! Anyway, I wish you luck getting those 60 lbs off.
  7. I can see your point. I am new to this, so I guess any plateau is major for me. Thanks for the advice.
  8. I log everything, I exercise daily, and I just had a fill on 4/22. I guess my body is just catching up, because I have lost 2 pounds since yesterday. Thanks for the tips.
  9. I have lost 31 lbs in 2 months after Lap Band surgery and have hit my first major plateau. Is there any tricks that anyone uses to get over the hump?
  10. I had fill #2 yesterday. 1 cc put in for a total of 4 cc in 10 cc band. Doing good since then. Good luck!
  11. That's great! Thanks for sharing!
  12. That is exciting..I hope it is that easy for me this time. I have been trying to have babies for 10 years. I am hoping dropping this weight helps a lot.
  13. Thanks everyone! It feels so great!
  14. Thanks...going to keep going strong!
  15. I am officially in "onderland"! Down to 199, with 29 lbs lost. It has been over 10 years since I have weighed less than 200 lbs. I am just so proud of myself and I love my band! I am so happy and I never thought I could be this happy with myself. I can't wait to keep having more success at this journey.

My super sweet and supportive hubby and my miracle baby, not much of a baby anymore. She will always be my baby though.
  18. My doctor said 18 months, but I am going to talk to him about that. I will be 35 next year and I am not getting any younger. I wanted to start trying in Sept 2013. That would be 7 months post op. I guess we will see.
