Hi Jody who was your Dr. in Monterey Mex. I had Dr. Rumbaut and It was the best. I had my surgery in Late november and so far have lost 30 lbs. I went to A fill Dr. in Tacoma twe weeks ago. I had a very unplesent experience. and will not be reterning to this Dr. Besides ever sence my fill I have not lost any more weight. my question to you is what follow-up Dr. are you using. I am so glad to see so meny Bandsters in western Wa. Talk to you all later

Hi Everyone It's Ellen (elbell) Yes I did have my surgery Last october Inmonterry Mexico It was the best experiencre I ever had and the addverture Is only begining, So far a hav lost 25 LBS and am fealing much better, I wish I could go to the Seattle Splash but I can't make It this year (not enough Vacation time) but Next year count me In! My First time posting on this thread I was banded last thursday and I started at 270 this morning I am down 5 lbs to 265 I Feal Good!!!

Kari first off I half to say I wish I had the guts to do what you are trying to do when I was your age. My story Is about the same, I have ben over wight nearly all af my life and after going threw a life changing event I decited to do something about It! Unlike you It clearly states in my insurance booklet that they will not cover any type of WLS. So I am going anouther rout of self Pay with a family friend. All I can say is talk to your Iusurance co. and push on them. If you don't get a yes the firest time find out what there appeal proses is and follow it by the letter! good luck to you and keep us posted Ellen:)

Hi All As some of you know I got my surgery date about two weeks ago For Oct. 28th and I can’t wait my problem is I haven’t got much more Info ie. Whet test I need and even the info I need to take to my pcp. I am using the BELIGHTER referral group which I know some of you have problems with. I didn’t know about these problems until after I got in touch with them. I haven’t herd from them in over two weeks and need to know something. Has any of you had the same experience with these referral groups and how did you deal with it. Has anyone gone directly threw Dr. Rumbaut’s office and if yes how would I contact them. I have ben so bisy the last week I haven’t had Time to visit the site but I spent some time reading today glad to see every one doing so well Thanks again Ellen

I have herd of the liqid for two week befor hand and I don't envy you.quite a few Dr. require somthing like it I'm at the point where I am braking haddits like drinking liquids at meals and not having soda pop. that is a hare one for me. any Keep us posted and good luck

I jest read the exempions in my helth insurancence book and it clearly states that the plan will not cover aney tipe of waight loss surgerys or counsloing or help . has any one wan a clame threw BCBS of Califorina. I am wendering if it is even werth it for me to fill a claim. I can't change insurance co. withch makes this even hader. thanks for all the help Ellen

Well, this week has bin a rollercoaster of emotions for me, on Monday I found out that I got my new job but not at the pay in wanted it at. (bummer) Tuesday I had to start packing to move by the 6th of August. (uggg) Wednesday I found out that my room mate didn’t have all her rent money and could not pay me untel the middle of next month But she could pay off the rest of last months rent that she owes me. (thank God) Thursday I went and applied for my lone (for the third time) for the surgery. And packed up some more. ( Did I minten that I hate packing) Friday I found out that I was denied for the lone for the third time after working for the last month and half to clean up my credit. I know that these aren’t big thing and that I shouldn’t weri about them except for the lone but they are to me. (The Question) Dos any one have any suggestions on where I can look for foundational add. My incurrence will not pay for this and I can’t change incurrence comaney Thanks for letting me talk. Hi All Well I didn’t formally introduce my self, My name is Ellen and at the moment I live in Mount Vernon, Washington, I have one fish named J.J. I’m not married and I don’t have any kids but I do have two god Kids that I can Spoil and then send them Home to there mother. I’m 26 years old and work in retail. Now for the wait stuff, I weigh 270 and my BMI is 45. I am not banded yet because of skijoring and financing problems, but hope to be banded in September. Hi sheeanisland to anser your question no I havent set a date yeat becouse of finnancell problems, but I am hopping to set a date fot the firest week or two of September, becouse i hate traveling on my birthday. So far what are your experences with Dr. Rumbauts office. I have talked to them a cupple of times and have had a good experience with them both times. Hi Jacqui Welcome, I jest wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I had the same problem with BC. I finaly got fed up and decited to skip them all together and go self pay, I found a dr in Monterrey Mexico by the name of Dr. Rumbaut he charges $10,600 I have talked to his ofice and they are grate people I havent had my sergery yeat but plan to go in september.
