LOL! Now I can feel the difference. I had chicken for lunch I think I had a bit too big of a bite and I felt it. It feels like something is in the middle of my chest below my sternum. It was a bit annoying/uncomfortable but not painful. Guess I have to really slow down and take smaller bites.

I don't have any food that gives me any problem but then again I am only 6 weeks post op. I just had my first fill yesterday and the surgeon put in 5 cc in my 10 cc band. I guess I am going to find out in a few days what I can eat and how to eat food the right way. I am kinda getting nervous about this since I don't want a stuck episode or vomiting.

Anyone have any experience with FMLA?

The company that I work for has an external agency that handles FMLA or any kind of leave. All I had to do is call them and they did all the paperwork including sending the surgeon's office papers that they need. -

I can't really feel the difference yet since I am on liquid right now. But the fill is no biggie. It took less than 10 min for the procedure.

I just had my first fill today. The surgeon just locate my port, put pressure on it and stick me with the needle. I felt a pinch but that's about it. The weird thing is, he ask me to get up and walk to the machine with the syringe sticking out of me LOL.

I was told no lifting over 20 lbs for 2 weeks

I have lost 30 lbs in 5 weeks with very little exercise. Is this going to slow down a bit? I am just trying not to have too much saggy skin.

I do the same thing so I can see what I eat, how much I am eating, and to keep track of my calories and Protein intake. I was banded 4 weeks ago and no fills yet (scheduled for 1st fill on 3/7).

My surgeon does fill with flouro...I am scheduled for this on March 7 (first fill). My surgeon told me that he do this procedure so there is not much guessing game when he is doing fills.

Where did you get the biotin chewables if you don't mind me asking. Is this prescription meds? -
Are you guys measuring your food (1 cup or less per meal)? Are you writing down what you're eating (how much calories, protein etc)??
