  1. I sure hope so and suspect it obvious that it has to be, the diet is a major cause to all that I'd think as for now, maybe better that it comes out of you than stays in.

haha, Darn it, Tattoo, I have such a radical situation as my diet is strictly not fairly and bairly functional as prescribed, may I ask did you use cafeine at all, I would limit that to 2 sips and forget it all day if you do, I do however feel better at the moment and think as you did it was low sugar.
  3. That may come and go but better left aside from whats been pre-decided as you'll be not wanting to feel anythiing like this later, seems every one does have the same prior to the surgery, surgery in itself is scary to any one. Lots of luck, wait and see that it will be better after a while as time goes along, I am 14 days out.
  4. seems you are trying to dilute whats meant for meal time only.
  5. Hi again there Paintball, Merry, merry, well, I have battled severe dizzy spell last evening and 1/2 that during the day before, stepped up my ration by a bite or two and its been better but have to wait to talk to surgeon office for now. I am on soft food now though so thats good.

How is the dizziness now ? I have had the same problem for a few days and found that a bit extra at meals has sustained a small difference.
  7. looking forward to trying muffin tin recipes so I got a few muffin pans and bought a small size George Forman grill and a few healthy themed cookbooks. I hid away my frying pans and my sauce pan in exchange.
  8. Good luck man, I hope you get settled with something easiest for all this some time in the future.
  9. http://arthritis.about.com/b/2006/10/30/turmeric-shows-health-benefits-for-arthritis.htm http://www.livestrong.com/article/490526-how-good-is-turmeric-for-pain/ I use it for simlilar probs , joints and back
  10. if you don't think it even laughable have you not try it, I use tumeric mixed into shakes and smoothies. It may not be total relief but its very effective for what it is and not like the Narcotics at all. You'd need only find ways to hide flavor with something, some people take it in Water alone. http://www.healthdia...f-turmeric.html ; look at, 9, and 11. http://www.nuts.com/...s/turmeric.html
  11. Me, 12/11, they aproved in CT. in October, medicare left it up to regional descresion but had aproved the sleeve in June. http://www.cms.gov/medicare-coverage-database/details/nca-decision-memo.aspx?NCAId=258&fromdb=true

I have old semi-tamed compulsions for crackers, chips, dips. Absolutley see the point.
  13. Nice ! I was the 11th with similar result and also very satisfied, it get's better ! ready to graduate to soft foods christmas day.
  14. lots of luck, Merry Christmas. It takes a few days but you'll feel better and know its worth it I think. Bring some flushable wipes to your room for clean and fresh ups.

that covers a weekness I have, thanks.
  16. it will change in time before you know it, some how the clock is running slow on this crazy liquid diet but I am just shy of my stage 2 change also. Fortunatley I am not hungry, I have had a great reaction thus far with this all.
  17. change what you eat firstly, eat many raw vegies and fruits, no fats or sugars, investigate whats good for you on line. A psychiatrist may find it hard to give some one so young the go ahead just yet on such a matter, your a kid, but you can be a wise kid and learn how to eat, a diet is not always about weight loss but about health.
  18. you should call surgeon but they may send you to get checked out just like Bubba said. It may not take that long to find it is not so bad but it is a good precaution. I also I would say to take it easy as you seem to know now, maybe stuff is adding up and stresses and activity are the cause you now still more, just don't excert yourself again today. 11 days out plus pre losses, lol, nothing still will fit me yet as always but 2 pairs pants I own are to big now too.
  19. I have similar recipe found on a site and saved early today, I can't eat just yet but some of this stuff looks great. a Crustless Ham and Swiss Mini Quiches Serving Size 4 servings (3 mini quiches each) Calories 197 "Super easy - can be adapted to whatever ingredients you have on hand. I ..."More Ingredients PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray 1 carton (16 oz each) Egg Beaters® Original 1 cup finely chopped fully cooked lean ham 3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese 1/4 cup sliced green onions Directions 1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Generously spray 12 regular muffin cups with cooking spray. Pour Egg Beaters evenly into muffin cups (about 1/3rd full). Combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Spoon evenly over Egg Beaters. 2.Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until puffed and set. Let stand in pan 2 minutes. Run table knife around edges of quiches to loosen. Cook's Tips Use your favorite cheese in this recipe. Try low fat, Muenster, Cheddar or any meltable cheese.
  20. good luck, I am real apreciative of my surgeon and the outcome so far, I am 11 days out and down several pounds, first few days are uncomfortable the rest is getting easy I'd say for myself.
