Questions about weight loss and losing more weight
.......... replied to rxkid2384's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's normal rx, your body needs these short and some times long periods to recoupe after large losses but they are bound to show up many times through out a long weight loss effort. some times they break when they want, exercise, Water and cutting back a few days can help. -
what is your favorite snack post op
.......... replied to newgrandmother's topic in Food and Nutrition
They sent a gift of small box chocolates with my last order, I am still seeking some one to give it to, I should just toss it out in the trash. I agree, sunflower seeds are a good fat source, nutritious and filling with limits, I used to consume them way differently in years past but added them as a fat source/desert to a extreme diet in mid 90's and found them great diet food as well. 1 oz. is about 130 or 160 cals, I have been considering also Pepitas but they seem to be more cals than that too, I hope to stay in control once I do get some. -
So very encouraging Mr. Fiddleman, lol, two for a price as one, just pulling your leg.......

what is your favorite snack post op
.......... replied to newgrandmother's topic in Food and Nutrition
Grandmother, I did a little like that with chia chips, just use small enough amounts and during snack added or in meal times scheduled, also I small pick me up, but I know, I am unsure have I been grazing at all, I am at a point that I must include more protein and meals are larger, I am allowed and maybe but feel like its maybe more not necessarily obssesive though. Remember I think with sunflower seeds you don't want more than a tablespoon give or take with a meal as an added fat. never a handful or even half one. I mostly use Nuts.com for oraganic and powedered stuff I can not get elsewhere and seeds, but its hard not to want to look around there, just don't buy any bad things.also they have grain flours and cooking grains I may be using in the future once added to recipes I have. Stuff I get, organic spirulina, turmeric, organic chia&flax seeds, energy squares, quinao, oraganic goji berries, organic maca, edamame, dulse flakes, no sugar Jams, wasabi peas, almond butter, and organic agave. was getting snacks pre op and wanted something, I entirely felt the same of adding one now. -
yes, watch if your not in shape and maybe have aches that you do not at first over do, some injuries may prevent more than walking.
-
Gotta use interval traing method. Walk and pick pace up, then run shorter distance and stay in comfort zones but get heart rate up enough, then basicaly repeat that several times, like; split 5,10 or 20 eventualy 30 minutes into walk, fast walk, running spirts, then again, get 30% faster than just walking maybe. Trick is getting heart rate to higher effective level long enough and then it all as one helps build endurance as well.

Grazing a lot after dinner :(

split your meals up into smaller portions and add one to early evening close to 8pm or move one smaller meal to this time of day and snack on stuff with little calories like tomatoe wedge and not cheese or fatty stuff. Also, drink tea or coffee and use artificial sweetener to avoid real sweets or add sweetener to something else and avoid craving real sweets. I'm guessing same as before, a diet is good as long as you stay satisfied doing it and it works but there is a break you may need between large loss were if your not going overboard your back into things quicker after. What is it your calling sweets ? Can't say what its like at 7 months, I'm at 2, but I guess the more you stay in bounds the less you'll worry at weigh ins that scale is not going to move. My diet is more substantial now and slower loss and staull 3 weeks just broke other day. -
I do, did not use it until weeks out though and use very little compared to pre op, once a day in AM, maybe use more later when it suits me best.

CARS BURIED IN SNOW...DOORS N WINDOWS ARE BLOCKED! SNOWED IN...CONNECTICUT
.......... replied to dat_sweetmami's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I have fear for the idea of gators I think and other hatchetable hot climate creatures as well, but I guess if you know about them well enough you sleep better at night.I do believe whats smaller there is larger here and the reverse, such as snakes, wild life and any bugs. Sun gives them venom too. -
oops, I have also had some guacamoli, so plz don't load any cannons yet, . often is raw veggies ingredients pre packed.

Seems like BB-q sauce and Guacomoli ring a bell to any ones ears, yes, cut that high fructose way out of the diet. I was willing to use this product for a recipe to cook the chicken first, the ingredients are allot of oils though and colorings but theres no fructose syrup. Xanthon gum is some kind of powder synthetic thickener with similar sugars but not the same thing I guess. added: this is still a hard thing for me to read and know, but I am re-reading a few and theres some more iffy whats in some my cabinet, corn syrup, high fructose, I do what I can. Seems anything with organic ingredients has none, or what I see so far in searching to have none. Organic costs a bit that is also iffy and not all the way done with me.oils are not the same and some are better than others

Dex soon, Grimm fall. Shameless is on now. -
love stubb's but it's the marinade I use, I'll need to get some sweet baby ray sauce and can't use any jerky, fronts where knocked out as a boy well before teen years replacments all pulled of their age, have a hockey smile now..
-
I use allot of steak sauce, some organic ketchup ( has no high fructose ), salsa as condiment on sandwhich, and made my own lower calorie tarter sauce because the ones they sell are not. also I think buffalo wing sauce can be an alternative for chicken. second edit: yes, much moderation in comparison to when ever,1 or 1 1/2 tspn.at a time.

....lol, how do you deal with that. We have black carpenter ants, they burow into wood and doors building nests inside and trek in through your kitchen next for crumbs. -
Extreme fatigue-is it my age?
.......... replied to DebLW's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Had the same thought, did some things like snacked on a spoonful or two yogurt early on or cottage cheese. I have been sleeping more and taking naps since excersising more and often, the first stages and weeks are ruff on the body, sleep was way out of kilter and added up to several naps consecutively allot of the time, and you may spend a day or some amount of minutes drained or dizzy a bit, rest is good medicine and help toward the diet to be fully rested once you can be better able to sleep. as for the thought, ignored as a thought and put it into it's same category as pre op, acception, was it then my weight also ? -
This is to easy, . Work'in out ! early AM pick me up burns, zoned ansominiac breaks, 30-45 minute + dvr player work outs. updated 2/10/13
