I'm seriously thinking about getting lap band surgery. Can anyone tell me how long the whole process takes? I'm planning on making my first app't soon. How long after my first app't might I be scheduled for the surgery. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance. Anyone have good luck with them approving the procedure? Sorry for all the questions. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2005. I didn't lose much weight and I've recently found out that the Doctor who performed the surgery has a very bad reputation for lives lost and chronic medical issues (me being one of them) Does anyone know If I'm a candidate for the Lap Band even though I've had Gastric Bypass? Thank you!
