It's 20 degrees outside lol I usually walk at the gym.. I put my membership on medical hold and my dr won't give me a note to reactivate it until the 7th (not to bad) I tried walking around the mall but it's always so crowded... Can't wait for warmer weather!

How long after surgery, before you can work out? My doctor said absolutely not until after my 1 month check up! Buttttt I miss it and want to be back to my normal routine.. I feel so lazy!

My surgery was during the nor'eAstern that hit NYC on the 8th! So I feel your pain! The worst is not knowing if its gonna happen or not.. but you just gotta take it as it comes

I am definitely getting a new tatt when I hit my goal. 3 years ago I had renal cancer resulting in having my kidney removed. I always wanted to get some flower vines wrapping around my side to cover the scars.

My drs orders are every time I eat wait 20 minutes to drink . If you aren't sure about something calling your doctor would be the best bet.

I am already on soft foods.. It's been 10 Day since my surgery.. After my esophagram .. My doctor put me on soft foods as tolerated

I wasn't banded before my gallbladder surgery but the gas pains were just as bad.. The faster u get up and move around the better off you are

Lol I don't know about mushing up for my family., but my pre-mush is somehow incorporated into their meals.

That definitely seems really low.. I'm with jars.. My calorie intake is 800-1000 a day. Do you have a nutritionist?

It is hard!! It takes me all day to get adequate amount of Protein, Fluid, food etc... I almost feel like its a job.. but I keep pushing to stay optimistic

I feel bad! We are band buddies (lol) and I'm having such an opposite experience. Have you spoken to your doctor or nutritionist? It sounds like your not taking in nearly enough calories. (Starvation mode) your body ends up retaining everything because its starving. Ask your doctor about Meal Replacement shakes rather than regular Protein shakes?

I did 7 days liquid... Now on to 10 days soft foods twice a day.. . My dr said after the 10 days I can start solids as tolerated.

And I'm finally feeling better after getting over all that gas pain.. Other than some minor soreness, I'm feeling amazing.. Definitely Tolerating all liquids perfectly.. I hope everything stays on this course! Lost 9lbs since surgery day.. Feeling pretty good!

I just caved in and took the liquid Vicodin.. I took 1/2 the dose! I didn't get to see my doctor either cause we had a blizzard and it was extremely insane in there.. But my doctor just called me an hour ago and explained everything.
