I did it! Surgery went great no complications and feel good! Woo Hoo I did it!

I am in my room drinking some warm tea. I have taken a walk around the floor once already and feeling pretty good. Sore, but not painful. I am Thrilled to be among the banded!

I just had mine yesterday. I am pretty sore and not really taking much pain med... I can walk without discomfort, it's the getting up and down that get me.. I took the week off, i tried driving this am and couldn't do it!

Good luck! Don't forget Chapstick! That was what I forgot!

Today is the day! Leaving in 15 minutes! So excited, nervous and anxious! The scale was good to me! I am down 17lbs from pre-op diet! Have a great day all and say a little prayer for me!

Ah... My surgery eve! Clear Liquids only today! So excited... In 24 hours I will be checked into the surgical center, getting my IV and preparing for surgery!

2 more days!!!!!! So excited!

Suitcase is packed, house is clean, laundry done, kids squared away....I check into the hospital tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3PM and am slated for my surgery Wednesday morning. Not sure where I am on the surgeon's roster but hopefully early! Thank you everybody for the buoying, carrying me (and all of us) across the demarcation line from pre-op jitters to post-op recovery....and then on to success!

Oh, I don't think this is trite at all. Your entire post resonnates with me, and especially this line. I think this accounts for the excitement, too...I'm so grateful for this surgery and its availability (and track record) so that FINALLY I can be the person physically that I am mentally.
Onwards to our rebirths, everyone!

Today is my last day of work for a week... Trying to get everything caught up and ready for my absence. Glad to hear all the newly banded doing so well!

I hear ya! I feel like I have been on the count down for a few months! My surgery is finally next Tuesday! So excited and ready to be on to the next step. I wish I were a more patient person. Oh well... it's almost here! I am down to 1 hand!

Surgery march 21 at 10:30am... Soooo excited!

On my final countdown. 3 days to go!!! Monday at 8 am on my way to changing my life!! So excited, nervous, scared, stressed, but oh so very happy!!

Hey dearlh! Im doing okay! Just sore! Day 3 for me down 5 lbs since Tuesday. I was very excited this AM! You're kicking butt down 13lbs... Congrats!!
