I wish I could put a before but this my new phone I took this pic today Ebonisekim, I have been following you since I was sleeved and got on this site in September. I am very impressed with your weight loss and your eating plan. I also no longer eat bread, pasta or rice.... Mostly I just eat protein. I do not count calories or track anything. I have went from a size 18/20 to a 14 in less than three months. Thanks for the great advice. You rock that sleeve.

Maybe instead of going back to the mushy stage, you could try going back to a major Protein phase. Buy good stuff.... steak, deviled eggs, good cheese, rotessiry chicken, crab legs, shrimp, ribs, etc., then add some of your favorite vegetables to the mix. Think about what you can eat, not what you have to stop eating. I'm not an expert, but this is something to try. I have to confess, I am a bit of a carb nazi and don't count calories or track my food. I just try to do protein and eat whenever I want so I never feel deprived..... Well at least not until tonight when my family wouldn't share their Halloween candy. -
Smooth Recovery? Anyone?

I had my surgery on 9/9 and it has been a breeze. As some people have mentioned, I think it is important to go into it with certain decisions already made. My decisions were: I will walk, walk, walk, as soon as possible. I will get in all of my liquids. I will get in all of my protein - every day - no questions asked. If you notice, most of the people who report good early results do these things. Also, I used my binder all day, every day for about the first three weeks, then I started tapering off. Good luck, you can do this. -
U did that in just 4 months! Woohoooooooo! Dang girl, work it.

Struggling, Disappointed with me.

Wait. I don't eat the whole cup of chicken salad at once, I just have it available in a container to munch on whenever I feel the need for a bite if something. -

I know this might not be what you are looking for, but do you think maybe you could just change what and how you are eating. Like instead of Water, try to find a really good Crystal light flavor that you love. My favorite is peach tea with lemonade. I mx it in my huge 52 oz cup at home and have to finish it before going to bed. I also keep 32 oz cup of lemonade -Crystal light - on my desk at work which I have to finish before going home and a 16 oz bottle of water in my car. I drink all day. Also my Snacks have tons of Protein. My favorite is a slice of low fat sandwich meat wrapped around a stick of cheese. Or a cup of chicken salad made with chicken breast, salad dressing and pecans. Oh and I also keep devil led eggs on hand as a quick tasty snack. I'll admit I don't write anything down or count calories -- to much work - I jut stick to high protein with a few veges thrown in but I've lost about 35 pounds since Sept 9. And I eat whenever I want. Even late at night. -

The exact same thing happened to me after eating a bowl of overlooked cabbage. It was so good that I ate my small portion to fast and guess I didn't chew it enough. I tried taking a walk thinking I could walk it down. I wound up walking and throwing up. I'm sure people were wondering what I was doing, having to stop and throw up every few feet. Haven't had any cabbage since then. -

Get it girl! You look GREAT. -
Yesterday I went to the yearly Ham Festival with my two kids. They had so much food that I would have normally tried to eat, but I was so busy enjoying all the compliments about my more than 30 pound weight loss and telling everyone about my amazing surgery that I really wasn't tempted. My kids had funnel cakes, fried pickles and even tried deep fried Oreos while I sipped on water. I was so good to be able to walk up and down the hills without needing even one sit down break.
