  1. I had my surgery in dec and everything has been great since. I went for my last fill 2 months ago and have been feeling just right. A week ago I started throwing up everything I ate for 3 days. It worried me but it quickly went away and I feel fine. But now I've been having a burning sensation in my throat and when I throw it up its a clear liquid with black stuff in it. There is never any food ( even after I eat).... Has anyone had this? And if so what'd you do to stop it... Thanks for the help and I'm sorry for the pic but its better way of describing what I don't know!

    Incision site pain

I'm thinking another 60lbs! But i will let my body tell me when to stop. I dint want to get super skinny just healthy. I can't wait and I'm extremely motivated!! I remember my first couple of weeks after sx I just could understand why I did this to myself but now I'm happy I did!

    Incision site pain

Oh yea!! I remember those rough days... Don't give into temptation. I did the second week and was scared to death I was going to hurt it after. Just remember it will be worth it. I had my sx in December of 2012 and hit my 40lb lost today!!! I'm so excited and honestly I would go through the process again if I had to

    Incision site pain

Your port is located where the longest incision is... That one hurt me for the longest time as well. I think I stopped feeling pain or a pulling sensation like a month or so after. Stay strong I promise it will get better! Just drink your Protein it helps the healing process
  6. Well went to the my doctor earlier today and the results are in..... The band was to tight. No liquid was going through when I took the x-ray so they took some fluid out and I'm feeling great!! I just want to thank everyone for commenting. I was just anxious and wanted to see if anyone else has gone threw what I was going through. It looks like I was spitting up acid from my stomach since the food was getting stuck up top. I was just a little scared and was looking for support while I waited the crazy 12 hours to get in to my doctor. I'm happy that I posted this because I know that I am not the only one who had gone through this and I won't be the last. I don't feel like we should be afraid to ask questions because I'm sure someone out there on this forum has the same question or has gone through the same thing. I'm just relieved that all it resorted to was taking out some fluid! Thank God!!
  7. Thanks, I will let you guys know! You never know who's out there with the same problem
  8. Any half intelligent adult would know to call their doctor!! Here you called me stupid... Your just beating around the bush.
  9. Please don't resort to calling me stupid. You don't know my life. I probably have more schooling than you!
  10. Thanks everyone that has replied! And thanks smurphette! I have an apt for tomorrow since the clinic was already closed. I don't understand why people have to be so rude when we are all In the same boat. I was asking a question because you never know what going on and who better to go to than someone who's walking in your shoes. I deleted this app before because of a lot of the rude comments and I'm unhappy I downloaded it again just to find that nothing's changed. Where's the sympathy instead of being assholes! I do like to google everything an ask questions so I have a background of what's going on with me and I was worried so I resorted to this stupid app. You rude people really kill this app of so called support!
  11. I received my first fill on wed the 16th and I still do not feel any restrictions. I have to stop myself from eating and the band is doing nothing. I have lost 30lbs since my surgery in December and I'm so scared I'm going to gain it back without being restricted. How long did it take after a fill to start feeling restricted?! Oh I have 6cc of fluid in me now

    Not feeling restricted

Ok, I'm just hoping it kicks in soon. I'm scared to gain the weight back so I'm doing the pre op diet again.

    I sinned!

I'm 10 days post op and I've been craving a sandwich. Well I broke down and ate one yesterday and I feel so guilty. I'm suppose to Be on liquids still but i took small bites and chewed it until it was like liquid. Almost took me 45 minutes to eat it. I mean if the world is going to end tomorrow I didn't want to go without eating a sandwich. Lol ( just kidding) but I am now staying strong on my liquids until Monday which is when my mushies begin. I feel bad though!

    Hi i am very new

Yes I felt the same way! But I'm 10 days post op and have lost 24lbs. I slipped up yesterday and ate a half sandwich! Shame on me but I feel super guilty and will not risk complications for food again. I'm sure you will do fine and I'm sure that fear of failing will motivate you to stay strong and do as your told!!

    I sinned!

Thank you and yes I need to remember that!
  18. Spoiledguti86

    I sinned!

    I'm sorry I don't understand your question?!
  19. Spoiledguti86

    I sinned!

Can I ask. Can you drink to much at a time that it can damage the band?!
