  1. Hello everyone! Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I have stalled at about 60 pounds lost and I go see my surgeon tomorrow for my third fill (currently 3cc in 10cc band). Right now I am still able to eat a lot more than I am supposed to and I get hungry quick. I know it is easy to get discouraged when you see others posting high numbers, I am in that same boat. I try to keep in mind that this is a marathon- not a sprint. We are all going to make our goals reality with a little time. I gave away some clothes that were entirely too big now and thy gave me a boost of hope. I try to find little things to get excited about diluting this process. I know some people may not agree with this but throughout this entire process I have discovered the true meaning of moderation. I don't deprive myself. I still have a little piece of this or that but I know my limits. My fitness pal has been my best bud. It's an eye opener to see the calorie count on things I used to eat and eat as eat. I am making better choices and so is my family. My husband has lost almost 35 during my journey and he is still losing. I just wanted to let you guys know what was going on with me. Happy Losing!
  2. Errikadb and DisplayName I just want you both to know that I know exactly how you feel. I feel as if I have no restriction at all. We are all in this together. Where are you both in fills? I go for second one tomorrow.
  3. Thanks for the response. I don't know why I never thought about getting my mom a stationary bike. That would be low impact and she can stay in the house. I can't get her to go to the gym with me.
  4. Oh it's no problem. As long as they went someplace to get use out of them.
  5. I feel that same way but I try to log everything in my fitness pal. I only have 1.5 cc in a 10 cc band and I have read people don't reach the green zone until you are around 6-9 but it is different for everybody. I try not to over eat- I feel sick if I eat entirely too much but I don't feel hardly any restriction right now.
  6. I am from LA. I am in Baton Rouge.
  7. You look great girl! Keep up the great work.
  8. I haven't read any posts of anyone banded I. December being at the green zone. I am stalled again and trying hard to maintain and not gain. I am fluctuating with three pounds but I try to stay positive and think- this is no where near where I was. How many calories are you all taking in a day?
  9. I can use 24-26s if you are looking to get rid of items.
  10. I have only had one fill. I go back for another on the 2nd. So far I only have 1.5 cc in my band. I don't feel hardly any restriction and I am finding myself eating more than I should. I jump start weight loss when I stall by doing straight liquids for a couple of days. But so far I am happy with progress. We will get to the green zone soon enough. I know I should increase my exercise but I am having trouble squeezing it in. We will get there December peeps.
  11. I am sorry you didn't have a loss this round but there are many more to come. This is a marathon, not a sprint. At least you are being pro-active an took a good look at what you are doing. Best of luck to you. We can do this!
  12. There was a week where it seemed like the scale went up several days. I was devastated. I came up with several scenarios from TOM to muscle weighing more than fat. I took a hard look at my diet and exercise routine and I did two protein shakes and one full meal for two days in a row and the loss started up again. I am not sure if that was the right thing to do but hey, it worked. I noticed what was different in my diet compared to previous weeks and made a few changes and I changed up my exercise routine just shake things up a bit. Hope this helps.
  13. I went to two Support Groups in my area this week. I wanted to try them both out to see which be I liked better. I didn't say much at either because I kind of felt out of place. It's hard to get a word in when you have people who like to dominate the conversation. I actually feel better in here with you all because you can have your "voice" and people will respond to your inquiries without being judgmental. I won't go into specifics about what rubbed me the wrong way but I just needed to share my experience. I will go back for the structured sessions where you get professional information, the two sessions were great, but I doubt I will be sitting through the open discussions.
  14. Thank you all so much!!!! I really appreciate your support! ???ƒ

  16. What a difference! That is awesome!

  18. Thank you all for your support. I am still amazed... In shock.... Excited!
