So my liquid starts Wed morning and yesterday I went out a had a steak dinner & today had my favorite mexican dish. Got it all out of my system. Anybody else plan to have any favorites prior to being banded?

It really just felt more like a conversation to me, super easy. She did ask about childhood abuse & depression & such. Mostly told me what to expect...like how the people around me will relate different to me & such.

I ordered my protein powder from them today. Got the same email & wanted to take advantage of the sale. Thanks.

Just wanted to pop in & say "Hi". I am currently waiting on my insurance approval. I thought I was gonna get a Feb date but it's looking more & more like it may be March now. Once the papers were in I had to go get an ekg then was told I needed a pulmonary function test. All was submitted last Fri. Fingers crossed.

I'm planning to have a favorite meal before I start my liquid but do not plan to eat too much, just normal.

I know they are all different but I was just wondering what an average length of time was to hear back from insurance companies.

Good job Mandy. Not on my pre-op diet yet. How have you been feeling? I have been on a diet, cutting carbs & sweets. Had a big drop in my sugar today, ugh. Looking forward to meeting with the nutritionist next week. For now I am going to cut back on one of my pills. Hate that sudden drop in sugar, feels awful.

I am hoping to be joining you ladies with a Feb date. I had to do the 6 mo diet & just had my last mo on the 16th. Met with the surgeon today, psych evaluation, & insurance lady. The insurance lady will be submitting any day now & said it will take about 2 weeks for an approval. My biggest concern is that I had to skip a month in Sept due to my son's severe illness & hospitalization. I have all the records from that & made up the missed visit already so they do not think it will be an issue but we shall see. I have my nutritionist appt set for the 28th. I have tried the muscle milk in chocolate but not sure if it meets all the requirements yet but it was pretty good. My Dr's office carries the
