  7. Yeah I'm nervous too. But that's normal with surgery. I keep telling myself I will be fine. They do these things all the time. But I wish it was here already. I want to get it done and over with

  15. I felt the same way. I just told a good friend and they shook their head and said just diet and exercise. Pissed me off! I've done that and it worked but the weight came back. With the band I will diet and exercise but the weight won't come back! I will tell people when they notice the weight loss but I can see that explaining it constantly will be annoying. People need to understand that its not an easy way out! This is gonna be hard work and you are doing it for your health.
  16. Damn I thought friends were suppose to support each other! I am choosing the band cause I want to lose the weight slow. My wife on the other hand is getting the sleeve. I think removing the stomach is crazy but she did the research and she feels its the best one for her. 75 lbs in a year is good! Besides you don't wanna lose it too fast. Sounds like you are doing good. Don't let know one get you down!
  17. By looking at the pics I think you don't have anything to worry about. You look awesome
  18. Its crazy that its only a few days away. We will have to keep each other updated.
  19. Someone please calm my nerves! I'm excited but nervous. Its a big change but I know its for the best. Surgery scares the crap out of me. What's everyone eating once back on solids? All advice welcome.
  20. Ok I feel the same way. I've heard people calling it the easy way out. But you still gotta eat right and exercise. It's not gonna be easy. Not sure who I'm gonna tell

  25. Yeah my doc said no carbonation. Which is not a prob. Just sip enough to test any home brew I make. I do not want to mess anything up with the band

  29. Thanks everyone. I'm going to cut the soda out but I'll take a few sips of beer and see what happens. I'm sure I'll have more questions. Many more lol
