  1. Same for me. I will 4 months post surgery April 4 and I am down 51 lbs. I have had one full though 2cc. Went to surgeon on the 21st and we decided no fill. Back in 8 weeks to see how I am doing. I have also been eating "real" food and lots of protein.
  2. I have tried a glass of wine on 3 different occasions. I am a red wine girl. Each time I drank about 1/2 glass. Twice I felt like I had a hangover the next day. The one time I didn't was when I drank a merlot. May try a white next time to see what happens.
  3. I had no idea that is what those hiccups were called. I figured it meant time to stop.
  4. Feel free to add me. Banded 12/4/12. Hope you guys don't mind if I add you as we'll. I need friends as too. Add me taylor5015.
  5. I too am living with my 79 year old mother. I plan to move closer to my daughter, her husband and my new granddaughter which are 3 hours away. I put my condo up for sale and never expected to sell it so quickly. So I stored everything and moved in with mom. She too has sweets and junk food. But it is her house and I can not expect her to give it up. My weakness are cookies. She has a cookie jar full . So far I have done really well but sometimes it is hard. I think 50 lbs in 6 months is great. The sf puddings help me as we'll.
  6. Wow! I am new to all of this but I can honestly say your posts I always look for and read. So I want to say thank you
  7. I am right there with you. 2 days post op. Felt like I had been hit by a bus at first. Getting better now. Feeling the same but managing to get in a little more liquid everyday Have not checked my weight yet, but lost 9 lbs on pre op diet.
  8. PIZZA! And pound cake for dessert. I don't usually have dessert
  9. I was not given a calorie count. Nutritionist said main purpose of diet was too shrink the liver as much as possible because carbs and sugar swell the liver. She did mention calories just minimal carbs and no sugar.
  10. My diet. 3 protein shakes,3oz lean protein lunch and dinner, 2c salad with each meal but no iceberg lettuce, 2 sugar free pops a day, up to 2c sugar free jello, 1/2c acceptable veggies with each meal and 64 oz sugar free fluids. I did not cut back on carbs like I should have prior to pre op diet. I think my body went into shock . Better now though.
  11. I am scheduled for December 4th as well in Greensboro NC. Excitedand nervous Doing pre op diet now.
