  1. That is fantastic S. You look amazing! Yeah it is probably so hard thinking now you are just one of the "normal" size people in the room. It will probably take some time to get used 2.

    223 pounds is truly an amazing accomplishment you have attained!! ;)

    HAPPY 53 BIRTHDAY!! ENJOY IT.

    (as far as body dysmorphia, I suffer from the opposite, lol. Unless I look in the mirror or pass a mirror, I think I am thin, crazy right?)

    I just wanted to share a great day for me today. I had my surgery in December and have lost 50 lbs. I decided to enter a CrossFit competition today. It was tough with all these amazing athletes and over 1,000 spectators but I walked out proud and did it.

    I am 232.5 pounds now......I still have a ways to go, but I am on my way!

    ;) Thank you all for all the support and great postings ;)

    (the voice in the background is my moms voice, she is my biggest fan, lol)

  3. Being able to go to a restaurant and not worry if I can fit into the booths or not. That was a horrible feeling wanting to get to a restaurant before anyone else to secure a booth or table that would accommodate me......

    THAT FEELING IS GONE FOREVER!!!

    Being able to compete again in Sports!

    GOSH, can't even imagine after another 75 pounds how it is going to be!!!!! Woohoo


  4. Where are you?????, I will be right there!! ;) lol.

    It is pouring here also!! ;) Thank goodness I got my workout in earlier today. Tomorrow I am actually going to go to ride my bike to a CrossFit that is about 9 miles away in Spring Hill Florida. I can't wait!!

  5. For some great fat burning and toning exercises. Do full squats, using your lower body you are activating over 200 muscles!! I do at least 50 squats a day. Make sure you go below parallel (you can you tube CROSSFIT squats)

    Also on crossfit.com they have full exercise workouts you can do at home. Some are pretty intense, I love doing them. I am rv ing right now in Tampa Florida and the last few days I been doing my crossfit workouts.

  6. Hi Molly,

    Sorry about your situation! I went back to work in 7 days. The first few days suck and I barely moved other than to walk around as recommended by my surgeon.

    I am 8 weeks out and down 48 pounds and its the best decision I have ever made! No regrets here!

    Good luck with your journey. If you have the opportunity to have lapband, I highly suggest you get it.
