  1. I was given a Protein goal of 95. I am 5'7" and started out at 287 lbs. and I just turned 52. Now I see my dietitian on Monday and that number may change. I have a shake for breakfast every day. 33 g protein I have 2-3 Snacks and lunch and dinner my 3 snack depend on if I need protein or not. I try to eat something about every 2 1/2-3 hrs. And I sip sip sip. Hope that helps. I was given detailed list of what I could eat and couldn't eat. I almost feel like I have more restriction just in the past week. Good luck Dry roasted edamame 1/4 c 11 g 1/2 c 2% cottage cheese 14 g 2.5 oz pack of tuna in Water 18 g 1 oz turkey Jerky 11 g 100 cal pack of almond and walnuts 3 g That's just to name a few Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Woohoo!!! you are doing awesome.
  3. Another thing is I faithfully measure or weigh my food. I still eat around 1/2 c. I have ate just under 1 c of food 1 time with no problem. I like to stay at no more than a 1/2 c. it makes me feel in control. Goodluck.
  4. I had surgery Jan 28th. I stalled at about 2 wks for 2-3 wks. I upped my calories and and broke my stall. I journal everything I eat and drink. I drink a protein drink every morning for breakfast and eat the rest of my protein. I aim for 95g of protein a day. I don't have a problem getting in my liquid. I was giving a binder at my first appointment with the surgeon. I got a diet plan about 2wks before surgery describing in detail what I should be eating as my diet progressed. It still says to use protein shakes daily. I also started using My fitness Pal on April 2nd. I love it, but I still journal in a journal for my dietition. I have my 1st post surgery appointment with her on Monday. PM me if I can help you in andy way.
  5. Good luck! I will be 11 wks post op tomorrow. No problems so far. Smooth sailing. The first couple of days were rough but it gets better every day. Prayers for a smooth surgery and speedy recovery.

  11. I have heard of it, but thats it. Sorry:( I got some protein from my Step daughter and it is sweetened with stevia. It says to add to 11 ozs of skim milk, juice, or water. I add it to 8 oz 1% milk its not bad. I just got the vanilla. Hope you are doing good.
  12. Awesome progress! I am 10 weeks post op. I do a shake for breakfast and 2-3 snacks a day and 2 meals. My snacks are mostly all protein. So my third snack depends on where my protein is for the day. I do like to drink the breakfast essintials no sugar add for my night time snack if needed. I am down 36 lbs since surgery today. A total of 70 lbs since Oct. 17th. I measure all my food. Last night I tried a baked lasagna(spinach, chicken and mushroom) I measured 3/4 c. and was able to eat it all. It was also my first pasta to eat. Again, awesome progress and good luck on your continued success!
