Where are you having surgery? I'm an Oklahoma girl too. I should be Jan 28 or 30th, Dr. Keith is my surgeon.

I have everything ready, just waiting on a call from surgeons office. When I spoke with the nurse yesterday she said we were looking at Jan, 28th or 30th....I can't wait! The dr. office had sent the wrong surgery code to my insurance, so yesterday they were suppose to send the right code and when they get the okay they will schedule me for my last two visits before surgery..!

My dietition told me about the pb2. I ordered it from amazon. Love it in my chocolate protein shake. It tastes like a reeses peanut butter cup. I ordered 4 jars!

I don't know about regular peanut butter, but my dietition told me about PB2 it is a powder peanut butter. 2 TBs is 5 g or protein. I ordered it from amazon. I add it to my chocolate protein and it is YUMMY taste like a reeses peanut butter cut! It is roasted peanuts with all the oil pressed out and turned to powder. Look it up,

I seen those also and was wondering if they were okay. I haven't been sleeved yet. Suppose to be in January sometime, but I have been researching everything possible and found them on line yesterday. Good luck, and I hope you find out soon about the protein shots

Hello fellow jan.2013 sleevers, When I met with my dr. in Oct. he said sometime in Jan 2013. I have my last dietition appt. on Dec. 31st. Then after Jan. 1st they will turn it in to my insurance. I am on a pilot program through my insurance. So I am hoping for middle of Jan....I can't wait. All I need to do now is have my class for the 10 day diet, see surgeon,do the 10 day diet and then get it done! I am in Southern Ok. and having mine done by Dr. Keith in Norman OK.

I havent had surgery yet but you can crunch ice or popsicles. If you are wanting to crunch and chew

Well I agree with the above posters. I work in a small office and I told everyone what my journey is. I wanted them to hear it from me! I have had so much support in my decision. I am glad I spoke up. Good luck and congrats on your WLS!
