The doctors office called me today to tell me the IRB still hasn't approved plication. I am going on and having the band Monday.

well as you know ive been worried about extra cost for plication. Tricare wouldn't cover any complications f I had plication since its not FDA approved ~~ guess the good lord made my decision. I only need to lose 5o-6o lbs I feel like I can do it with the band!!

Lap band with plication (yes I decided to do plication). I begin my detox diet Monday (22) and surgery is the 29 th.....I am so darn excited!!!

ok ya"ll I need advise. My band date is April 26. My question is I need to lose 75 lbs. I really want the band with plication. My Doctor charges a 500 program fee and 800 extra for plication. 1300 is a little steep for me right now with son in college. My husband is afraid I will have additional charges also for the hospital and anesthesia for the plication part. My question is should I just go with the band?? Sound off and thanks in advance.

YayMy doctors office called me today and told me the hospital is allowing them to start doing plications again on April 25, so I rescheduled my surgery to April 29 because I really want the plication part

Nervous about not being able to get plication. My insurance will cover surgery but not the PROGRAM FEE. I asked what the program fee covers and was told for facebook support group, one fill and reduced fee for dietician $35 per visit. Thoughts?? Comments??
