  1. Sorry you have to deal with this. But you are stronger than me. I didn't tell anyone except family because I didn't want to deal with those types of people. Good luck, and stay strong!
  2. Leslie80, you had a rough start. I can't imagine being alone the first few days . Regrets, I think, are a knee jerk reaction in the beginning. But you are already losing and you will be a new and improved healthy mom for your kids.
  3. The helpless, depend feeling is awful. But what it really means is you are an independent, hard worker, or this wouldn't feel so odd to you! So take afew more days to let yourself heal. You've earned it. It takes strength to let others help you when it is against your nature.
  4. I hope you find your motivation. Congratulations on the 54lb weight loss. Can you switch up your exercise?
  5. Hooray! That must be a great victory.
  6. No, but I would strongly suggest you call and ask your doctor asap. Good luck.
  7. Good luck, hang in there, the best is yet to come, but it will come!!
  8. Very very normal. : ) Please know you are not alone. I bet tons of peoplecan relate. They say it's like buyers remorse. For me, only lasted a couple days. Chin up!
  9. Cool, but icky!!!!!
  10. Please know you are not alone with these feelings. I gained two pounds and they have stayed for several days so I feel your frustration. I guess just because we have a band, it diesn't mean we aren't going to have hills and valleys. Good luck, please wish me the same.
  11. The low cals are normal and ok for the beginning. Not being hungry is a blessing. Enjoy it! Congratulations on your new journey!
  12. I had the realize put on in dec 2012. After a recall I would expect it to be super safe now.
  13. Chocolate flavored protein shakes and choc flavored protein bars and sugar free hot chocolate help me
  14. I was banded 12/17. Got my first fill 4cc and never felt full. I was losing slowly but steady. I got a second fill 2cc this past week. Still not feeling full. So I am one of those that will need a few to get to the right spit. But don't worry about a fill. Nothing to it. Just a stick and that all I felt. Doc had me drink a cup of Water to be sure not too tight then on my way
  15. Very happy for you! Enjoy the ride.
  16. Tara, wear a head band!
  17. Never thought about it. Great idea! I would assume lab band patient is enough.
  18. Congratulations on your hard work and success. You should be so proud!
  19. Congratulations!!!
  20. Good tech info, but so sad someone needs to be told this. Guess cyber bullying isn't restricted to facebook and adolescents. A pity.
  21. I got 4cc on my first fill, I could eat a house still. I get another one this Thurs. I can't wait, I am hoping to feel that full feeling too.
  22. This thread made me giggle. It reminded me of how parents always said don't swallow melon seeds or a watermelon will grow in my stomach. Imagine one trying to grow in my pouch?! : )
