  6. Getting banded December 17th. 9 days before my 49th birthday. For years and years all I ever wanted for Christmas or my birthday was to be smaller. I was given a healthy body that I have slowly and steadily ruined with food. I have been blessed with a second chance to undo the damage. Please wish me luck.

  14. Gobble gobble. I wanted to be banded by Halloween. Wasn't. I wanted to be banded by Thanksgiving. Wasn't. But in suppoort of my pals and for practice I will eat,and chew, and wait as if I was banded! Practice makes perfect.

And then the ones that have been banded for quite awhile don't mind the naive questions I ask. Feel free to chat anytime and we can be in the insurance wsitjng room together. Hmmm, that sounds like a good name for a thread! : )
