Have you called Dr. Wilkenfeld in Conroe/Woodlands area? His office is on 242 at I45. He's a great doctor and that's where I will be going...getting first fill either this week or next! I believe he charges $75....either way, I know it's not $250!!!!

I'm newly banded. Still on "mushies", but on my way to solids. I have heard about foods "getting stuck"....my question is how do you know when it's "stuck" and what seems to be the consensus on the things that get that way? Thank you guys!

I'm getting banded on the 28th of this month....I have begun to get nervous too. I have thought about calling it off too. I look on this forum for comfort, motivation, and advice. The thought of feeling good again is so exciting...not being out of breath, not having aching/painful joints, and buying clothes at a regular store! Look towards the future and seek support...we can all do this together!

I got final approval finally! Surgery scheduled for December 28th...pre-op meeting with surgeon on the 12th. Now I'm starting to get nervous....it had always been something in the future...now it's here! LOL Thank you for your replies and support! Here's to success for us all!
