I'm so sorry about the bad band news, but how GRET that you'll be covered for the sleeve. What a relief! Selfishly, I hate hearing about band failures because (obviously) it makes me worry about myself (especially being without insurance. I'm self pay), but I knew going into this that scar tissue is a very real possibility. I love your attitude and have no doubts this next surgery will be just what you need. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and noodles of success!!

I have experienced the same event...I am compliant with the diet, exercise, and have lost only 1 pound since starting on soft foods. Muscle weighs more than fat, so while you are building muscle through exercise, you are loosing the fat, which the scale does not reflect. Keep focused...you will see the results. Remember also, that the band has the slowest weight loss rate. Keep up the great work!!

Glad you noticed your success, the band causes us to lose differently than before and inches do seem to happen even when our scales do not budge. Congratulations to you!

That feels great huh?! Just keep doing what you're suppose to and those scales will eventually show it to. I think that's why too they want us to take our measurements because you're more apt to see the results there. And I agree....God is good!!

I know scheduling is rough, but you need to make going back to your doctor for a slight unfill a priority. A band too tight can lead to slips and worse complications. You definitely don't want to mess with that.

Before my band I had all those problems. Took 6 pills a day to eat. My doctor repaired my hernia and my stomach was in the wrong place, which he fixed too. I feel great without all those problems. Have you been checked for those? I have liquid Zantac from my surgery.
