You definitely want to call your doctor's office. Feeling run down and dehydrated means your are starving your body of important nutrients. I haven't had a fill yet so I can't relate that way but I know about not getting enough nutrients. Just saying c:

I have researched the different exercise games and I prefer Zumba or Just Dance 4. There is also "Walk it out" that I am going to invest in. I played tennis today and felt like I got a good workout in for starters. I have severe bad knees and until I can lose the weight, I need to take it slow.

Hi, I can totally relate to you and am looking for a mentor as well. Not sure if you have already received a mentor but I am willing. I was banded the 14th of December and am down 24lbs. I am scheduled for my first fill on the 24th of January and to say the least, a bit nervous. I currently live in Fernley, NV (outside Reno) but am from and hoping to return to Bend, Oregon. Every surgeon is different but mine is 6 weeks from lap band surgery.

Hi, I was banded the 14th of December and started off super good. I then added soft foods and the weight came back on. I don't think my choices were that appropriate and that caused me to gain the weight I had lost. Is there still hope for me or have I royally screwed up? -

I had surgery the 14th and I am already eating greek yogurt and refried beans. I was so hungry the doctor had me start softs. I am down 19 lbs since surgery day. I can't have a fill until the 24th of January to allow more healing time. Anyone else experience extreme hunger? What did you do? -

I haven't had my lap band yet, actually, I get it done this Friday but all I have to say is try not to beat yourself up. Get back on schedule and just remember to try to do better next time. I think you have done AMAZING at losing 45lbs. I admire you because I was told we may only lose 1-2 lbs a week. But, again, please don't try to beat yourself up. God Bless! -
Good luck to everyone! I am Friday also. Had pre-op appt today so it feels "official" now. If anyone is looking for a "buddy" since most of us are on the same day let me know. I could use the companionship as well as moral support.

I am Dec. 14th also. I am getting nervous but know this is a piece of cake. I had the gastric bypass 9 years ago and I struggled with recovery. I had a friend that had the lap band and my dad has also and their recovery was quick and speedy. We will both do great! Good luck!

I am super excited and nervous at the same time. I currently live a ways from my mom who has been my rock but I am so grateful to have my godmother that is filling in by taking me to the hospital and staying with me. Then it is off to the "new" me. I have so many hopes and dreams. I thing I know for sure, this weight is not coming back on!!!! Good luck everyone and a special out reach to my fellow December bandsters!

How long were you distended with gas? What did you do to help relieve the pressure? -
Hi from Nevada. I should have my surgery by the end of November. I had the gastric bypass in 2003 and unfortunately had severe complications. I lost quite a bit of weight but gained it back after having 6 back surgeries. So, now I am having the lap band done. I am extremely excited and determined to make the appropriate changes. I am nervous but can't wait.
