  1. Oops stupid autocorrect. I meant to say keep on Keeping on lol
  2. Yes this process is tough. Sigh... What do I even say lol. It can be frustrating but ill krep in keeping in... What's my option lol? I am grateful for where I'm at but wonder if I'm going to loose anymore?
  3. I totally agree Jeff. It's nerve racking cause it shows that one could totally slip back if they chose to. I can eat way more now than I could back in the beginning. I imagine it makes sense really, all the healing is done, swellings gone. But it makes me nervous. And my surgeon is in Mexico so it's not like I can go get it checked out lol. Let me know what your surgeon says!
  4. I can't remember honestly, I've always just stuck to about 6-8 glasses a day...
  5. I'm glad to hear all is well. I don't know what your weight loss total will be. I lost 20 that first month too then 20 more basically over the next four months lol.. 15 more to go to goal! It's slow but ill take it. I also feel way stronger as I've been working out a lot the last two months. So although the scale is slow my body had changed so much... It's great;)
  6. Oh good for you! That's where I went! Dr Ortiz and dr Martinez were great! If you have any questions let me know;) pm me if you want!
  7. Aw tc that sucks:( what else is going on? Or is it mostly the pain that is driving you nuts? I swear something isint right there!
  8. My sd was dec 3/12... I lost like 2 pds over two mos so now I'm trying to switch things up a bit I guess, maybe try liquids... I have 15 pds till goal and its going slooow lol. Good on the four pds!
  9. Anyone considering trying liquids for a few days to jump start things or does that even actually help? Don't want to loose after just to gain it back lol... What do you guys think?
  10. Let me know how it works girls. I often wonder if I should try this to speed things up or try to be more patient and let it come Off slow... It's tough. I have a friend on ww who is loosing 1-2 pds a week..hmmm
  11. Ya I was wondering, is one expected to run the whole 5k or can you walk some. I hope you can cause I signed up for one in a month with my kids and there's no way we could all run the while thing lol
  12. I thought that too, many of times... Like is it worth the risk if I'm low bmi? But low bmi for how long? So I did it... I've lost about 40 pds, have 14 more to go before goal. It's unreal, I would have never got here without this. Eating a cup of food and feeling full... It's a miracle lol
  13. Tell me the story I need some inspiration too lol
  14. I gained a pound in a month period once but lost four inches... Go figure.. I know we wanna see that number move on the scale but have patience, out biddy will do what it needs to do...
  15. Premier protein from Costco is 30 gr in one shake and they taste good. I have one ever morning....
  16. I think the % is higher initially depending on what you have to loose. As ours is higher than Lapbanders. But a lot of it falls back on the persons willingness to stick to plan too...
  17. Good job! That's about where I was then too! I think you'll feel way better in about two weeks!
  18. I had mine done in Mexico with a 32 bmi, 30 bmi on surgery day. That's still I obese depending on your height.
  19. There def will be frustrating times but I can assure you it's not fat you're gaining. Your body is in starvation mode and you are prob retaining Water. The body will do what it needs to to heal itself. Once it heals and no longer feels starved the weight will start to drop off! Two months from now you will Look back and see that this is the beginning stages! And all the beginning fiasco will be over!
  20. Sounds like you are right on track to me... You can still have ad Jello, pudding, or Popsicles if you want. I wouldn't say I had pain 19 days out but def uncomfortableness.... At about 4 wls out I started to feel half normal and at about 6 wks out I started to get more energy back and the depression began to go away when I had more energy. Rest as much as you can! It will help!
