    Personally I think you need to call your doctor or nutritionist to figure out how to get everything in. I dont think you should be forcing liquids down if you are hungry.
  3. My mother had eroding in her esaphagus from being on ibprofen for long time. I dont think short time would really make a difference. Also my gp will not let me take ibprofen because my creatine (sp?) levels are high. There are also some medications that tell you not to take ibprofin with them. For example lithium.
  4. I would call my doctor on the weekend. I never heard of a doctor not having someone on call.

    I dont eat any rice or pasts. Try quinoa. It comes down to what you are willing to use your calories on.

    Back to basics!! Measure and track everything! You can do it. Use your wedding as a motivation not a deterent.
  7. Honestly you should direct that question to your doctor. I remember they gave me medicine cups after surgery that were about 1 oz so that I would drink slow. Right now its not really about nutrition its about healing. I know some people who used Ispure. They only liked a couple of flavors. I know fruit punch was one they likes. You really should get guidelines from your doctor so you can pick out your own shakes and drinks.

    Sorry you are having a rough time. I take tylenol arthritis (Cvs) strength. The more you move the better you will feel. Walk, walk walk!!! Gas-x chewables or strips will also help.

    Lots of people eat popcorn. I do not because my doctor said no and also because it is a trigger food. Movie popcorn is very unhealthy. If you decide to try bring your own.

    Crossfit? Anyone?

    I have a friend who was doing Cross fit when I met her. I think she was around 260ish. It has been great for her but it is really hard. See if you can get a free week at the gym or a free class. Also check with your doctor before starting. There are other posts about this is you do a search they should some up.

  17. I am just curious. I measure most everything that I eat. I keep seeing posts in some of the lap band groups where people are saying they are upset they are not losing but they count calories. Turns out they are not measuring their food? How on earth can you count calories if you are not measurin your poritons? Most of these posts are newer people. They just want to be right and don't want to listen. Oh well... maybe this post will help someone..

    Make sure to include a lot of water in with your liquids. Hang in there it is a rights of passage! Welcome to the club

    Extra skin

    You either will or will not have sagging skin. Being young definitly is in your favor!! My adviceis dont worry about it just focus on your journey with the band.

  22. I had a pre op diet but nothing like they give people now a days. I didint have any liquids or protein shakes. Trust your doctor. You might however might want to start working on changing some of your bad habbits like try chewing more and taking smaller bites. Don't drink while you eat and stop all carbonated beverages.   24. Sorry about your issues but glad you have another chance. I started my second chance October of last year. I had my band checked gotta small fill and a copy of my doctor's guidelines. Found this site and I havent looked back. 100.02 lbs gone now 58.8 since October. I only see the nurses at my office and they never made me feel bad never looked at me bad only have encouraged me and helped me find my way back. I dont know your surgeon and I want to punch him in the face!! First step is letting go of any guilt or any sense that you are a failure and never ever look back. Change what you can change and dont focus or worry about things you can not. Please join my recipe group in facebook. You can friend me at hely lb. We have games and challanges. People share recipes and ideas and post pictures of what they eat. Best of luck!! Dig down deep and find that "want power" and you can do it!! If I can do it I promise you anyone can!!
