  1. Congratulations! I can't wait for my first 5k. I am trying to get my self in shape for that now. That is so awesome you inspire people like me, thank you. I have only lost 71 lbs but I just keep hitting a lot of stalls and not really drinking enough Water sometimes. I think I was falling back into old habits. I am back on track now and losing, exercising and drinking my Water, watching what I'm eating also.

  2. Wow is all I can say..... I'm speechless my problems are nothing compared to what you were and still are going through. But I have to agree with you on losing myself in my titles. I am guilty of that as well as women we take our roles very seriously. Our families need us to keep it together. You would think that the way we take care of them they would reciprocate some of the attention back to us. But we are on our own at least we have each other. Thank you for sharing your very inspiring to us all. You could have continued feeding your problems with food but you turned it all around and said ok enough already!!! My son's father is Puerto Rican and he cheated on me a lot when we were together. I finally just said enough already and I haven't looked back since. He regrets it every time he has to look in my face and see me happy with someone else. He knows his cheating broke up our family. I've been married to a faithful man for 14 yrs now. Thank you for making me appreciate him all the more. God will carry you through your storm nothing is to heavy for him!! Keep moving and losing to bring you happiness, you deserve it.

  3. Just your medicine cups to keep track of your intake. This will keep you hydrated and you will be full really easily we all were. Mostly it's from the swelling in your stomach you just had major surgery. This is how your going to lose so much weight fast. Take it easy and just do what you were told to do during your pre op appt at the hospital. If you feel unsure call your NUT (nutritionist) but honestly it just takes time. Using your medicine cups will insure you don't drink to much. Listen to your body stop when you feel full it will get better once the swelling goes down this is all brand new to you. You will be fine. I hope this helps don't hesitate to ask a question.

  4. I think magnesium would help you. I got mine from the health food store. It works fast to I took the 250 mg just one with some Water and 10 minutes later I was releasing. This worked for me you can try it if you like it also comes in liquid and some times they carry it flavored. Also I started taking a spoon full of flaxseed oil everyday that keeps me soft just add it to your Protein shake you don't even taste it. I get that from trade Jose's at a good price. I hope this helps.

  5. We'll I would think obviously they would only reverse a surgery that was going all wrong. There are some serious health conditions that can arise from those RNY operations. I know a woman right now an LVN who went from pre diabeties to full blown diabeties if that isn't enough she has severe deficiencies and now she just found out she has lupus. She said she would have never gotten it done had she know that all these things could happen to her. Do your homework on this seriously because this woman didn't even know until she became a LVN after her surgery and then she learned about all the side effects up close and personal. She says every time she comes back with a new ailment they say oh yeah that can happen with the RNY. Not meant to scare you just inform you so if all these things were happening to me I would say reverse this if you can, please!! Yes everyone is different but just know what could be ahead so you are prepared. Wishing you the best in your decision.

  6. I'm so sorry to hear you are having these issues. I have been where you are the smart mouth, attitude and all. We have been married 14 yrs same amount of kids. I think things changed for me when I stopped focusing on him. I had to get my attention on me and that may be his problem your having to pay attention to you and not him and he can't stand that. SOME men can be very jealous and just plain old big babies about stealing their attention. The other comments are very supportive take their advice concentrate on you. Marriage is a partnership talk out the finances and come to an agreement he and you can live with and then continue doing you. When you constantly harp on issues sometimes you over think them and they eventually work themselves out. Your marriage had theses issues before your surgery maybe this was long over do. Maybe you thought your losing weight was going to bring about a change for the better in your marriage. You have to begin to love you and hold your head up. If not for you for your KIDS!! Take a deep breath and look in the mirror and say "I love me and I can do this." I wish you the best and my heart goes out to you. By the way my marriage is so much better now that I started loving me. If you need to talk I'm all ears....

  7. I am new to this only 2 months post op but I have been having these cravings also. I started drinking a chocolate Protein shake like Premier's from costco. It takes my craving away and I don't feel like I'm cheating with candy. Whenever I tried to eat chocolate it makes me bloat. I'm sure in a few months I will be able to eat them. But for now this is working for me. I hope this helps..

  8. I wish my husband didn't know but since we live together that would be kind of hard. Lol!!! I have to hear " You know you shouldn't be eating that". Wow and he's 60 lbs heavier than me. His reply is " I'm not under dr.'s orders". If he keeps eating like he does he will be under some dr.'s orders. To funny!!!
