Ok so week 1 is over and I have been feeling pretty darn good since I came home. I haven't had any crazy problems, knock on wood, or anything so that makes me happy.I have been walking and getting out on little adventures (a.k.a. stores) but I do find that after about an hour I get super tired and lose my energy and have to go relax and sit down. I know it's cause of the lack of calories and protein and stuff but I do not enjoy it. I have been having trouble getting my proteins in which is common. I can't really stomach the shakes anymore, which I still try to get down, and I can't really eat enough to get any good amount of protein so basically I have to relay on the shakes and do my best to drink them as much as I can. Sooo the exciting part, I lost 20 pounds since I got home from the hospital which was 1 week. I wasn't going to weigh myself until I went to the doctors for my 2 week checkup but I couldn't wait any longer so I weighed myself. Amazing and soooo excited. Well that's abot it. Until next week, taw taw!

OMG today is the day. I am going to be having surgery in 3 hours. It's so crazy that the day has finally arrived and in a few hours my new life is going to start and I can begin to set all my goals that I will now be able to achive when I wasn't before. Sea world and Disneyland being my first goals. I can't wait to take my little girl to Disneyland. She has been waiting forever and mommy had to keep telling he next year honey in hopes that I would lose the weight and be able to walk around the park. Now I can offically say that April 2013 or 2014 we WILL be going to Disneyland and it will be the best time ever. I can't wait. Well everyone wish me luck.I am off to the hospital. Bye Bye for now :-)

So I have been so set on the sleeve since I have started this process but met with the phycologist today and she made me questions myself. She is saying since I have 150-180 pounds to lose that it would probably be better to go with the bypass than the sleeve cause you don't ususally lose as much as I need to lose on the sleeve. I have never felt like the bypass was right for me. I always felt like it was such a big change to your body and a lot of stuff to go through that I was never comfortable but when the sleeve came along I felt more comfortable finally coming to terms and feeling ok about bariatric surgery. My question is would anyone that has as much weight to lose as me or around it wish they had done the bypass instead of the sleeve or hasn't been able to lose as much as they wanted to with the sleeve? Anyone think it's a better idea to go with the bypass since I have so much weight to lose. I don't know if my insurance company would cover the bypass after I have the sleeve first so this might be a one time shot and I need to make the right decision. Thanks and I look forward to you responses.

Soooo tomorrow is the big day. I am going to have my gastric bypass surgery. I don't even know what my emotion is. I feel kind of numb at this point, like it really isn't happening. I don't know it is a weird feeling. I am anxious to get through all the painful parts that I know are coming after a surgery like this and get on with my new life. I can't wait to start losing and feeling more energy. This is going to be an amzaing journey. Surgery is at 7:30 am so I have to be there at 5:30am which I am not that excited about the early morning but that means I will be the first one in for surgery so the surgeon should be in tip top shape, LOL... Well wish me luck guys. Please keep your fingers crossed that I will come out ok and everything will go smoothly. I have a little one at home who needs her mom so every crossed finger is well appreciated. Bye Bye for now!
