Tammy12...im post op day 3..i too was given tylenol.with codeine..only makes you sleep and feel itchy. I called for something else and they told me liquid motrin..one week only..im currently.taking nothing for pain.

I was just gonna post about what day after post op you start to get hungry.. Im not hungry yet but im only 3 days out and my tummy just growled for the first time..i might try some chicken broth tmrrw..i still have shldr gas twinges..so annoying..and bloated..havnt lost an ounce and Im actually up a couple pounds..also, I cant burp..i get this weird chest hiccup..

Hi, I was banded tuesday...today better..but still have gas pains and very bloated..hard to sleep on my back..so little sleep. Day 2 was the worst. Day 3 much better. Hoping tmrrw is even better. My port is in my right side above my belly button. That incision hurts the most. Hang in there!

Feels so good...bandage off that plastic sheath was so itchy..hot shower..ahhh..felt so good! Sneaks on and goin for a ride to walk around the store..

Gas pains on my shoulder tips or the incision site pain...so uncomfortable

Steffy, I was banded yesterday..yes it hurts to get up and down..still cant bend..and lots of gas discomfort/pain..I looked into the belly band and some use them but I also read that binding can cause infection..so im just using a pillow and that helps..hang in there!!! PB2 is powdered peanuts..

How did everbody do? What pain meds did you get? I was given Tylenol 3 and its making me itchy.

One gallon of chai tea..whats in it? Sugar, milk?

Hurtn..esp..shldrs..neck and deep breaths..no gas coming out..when will I get that relief? They found a cyst on my liver so im kinda freaked out about that. Im super umcomfortable lying down..hurts to get up and down. Cant wait to feel better..i was given tylenol w.codeine it makes me super drowsy. Hows everyone else doing? Really wish I cld burp too..

Waiting for my ride to get banded! Excited to start the next part of this journey. Aug 1st was the seminar. Sept 7th. Was my first appt. Sept 14th I started the 5day ketosis diet. Since then I've lost 22lbs. Everything is moving in the right direction! Praying for a successful procedure and speedy recovery! I too had doubts and fears. I even watched the whole procedure on you tube! Im doing it for a life change and permanent tool. I cant wait to get healthier and feel and look better!

I was allowed 3 starches a day. If I ate crackers that meant..whole grain..about 2 to 3 crackers.

Big day today! I actually slept through the night! But I have my t.o.m...figures on the heaviest day today..how embarassing!!! And I have cramps! Thoughts and prayers to all the bandsters today!

Im only 3 days away from being banded and my brain is consumed with thoughts of deprivation. Am I the only one going through this? Its making me wanna run out and eat pizza! I live on chicken and thoughts of not being able to eat it and pizza and oranges are making me sad and want to run away from this whole thing. I need to get my head on straight..

Are these ok on the 2 wk liquid stage?

Hi, I only know where I started and where im at in about 4 weeks..im down 18lbs....started from 5 day ketosis diet on which I started 9/14..been doin low cal..low fat since..go in on tuesday for the procedure!

I know everyones different..just looking for a general concensus
