No it doesn't work for everyone .The surgeons all agree its another way for insurances to make u jump thru hoops & give up.. I myself need to loose about 110 pounds to fall in to the healthy BMI category.I feel good about this and am keeping the faith;-)

Laura I am going to new surgeon the other one I went to was great but the girl who does his insurance not so much.. She was NOT a. Patient Advocate @ all but that's ok .. I have a good feeling! I go the 19th

So they have u a surgery date without being approved ? Pray pray pray!! I keep remembering what the first surgeon told me..they make u jump thru all these hoops hoping we will give up! I am not until I know there is no hope! Since I've been on my "diet" (lol) I have actually gain a bit I'm miserable ..but was told do not drop below 40!

My 6 month diet will b complete in April:/ so after that! I'm hoping I can have surgery by springtime! U???

Always heard tricare was easiest to get approval I have bc/bs al peehip thru the school system

O I am! And yes they should b but you know the insurance companies are all about the $$$$! I am not giving up;-D

I think they just want u to get frustrated and give up! I won't have an opinion on how good my insurance is until its submitted and the approve or deny!! Lol

I'm 5'8 also!! Yea me either! Never did i think mu weight would be to light for anything!Lol yea I've been eating lol my new surgeon @ seminar if ur borderline do the diet but dont!! So that's what I'm doin...my doc who's surpervising my diet said same thing he's awesome!

I also have back trouble had surgery back in 1993ish hope ur journey go well! Keep us posted!
