  3. So I know this is something that your not suppose to do with the band but I just cannot get out of the habit. I have had my band since Dec.18th and so far have lost 83lbs I am wondering if I stop drinking while I eat will it increase my weight loss?
  4. So I am down 75lbs!!! I go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week. I walk on the treadmill and do different types of circuit training. I can tell that my skin is starting to sag some and I need to know what types of workouts I need to do to tighten my stomach, arms and legs up. I know that I am going to have sagging skin I just want to get everything as tight as I can. *I would ask someone at the gym but there is no one there at the time that I go.
  5. Congrats on getting the band!!! I got the band back in December and it is the best choice I have made, I turn 25 on 9/14 and I am hoping to be down 100lbs by then. Good luck with surgery!
  6. That is great!!! I tell people around me about my nvs and they I am silly like putting my leg up in my chair at work or that I notice my shadow is getting smaller, I tell them its the little things that count!!!
  7. Make sure not to forget a heating pad, I had forgot to buy one and had to have someone bring me one the day of my surgery. It was the best thing I had that and gas x. That is all I needed. Good luck with getting banded it is the best choice I made!
  8. Congrats!!! I cannot wait until I can get on a ride and not have to worry if I will fit or not=)
  9. I think it all depends on the person I didn't go back to for a week and was still in a little pain when I did return. I was on liquids for 2 weeks before I started on mushy and when I started I was careful to make sure that I put anything I ate in a food processor even soup.
  10. I would have told myself to take a picture right before I started my pre opp diet, the only before picture I have is 2 weeks after my surgery and I was down 27lbs already.
  11. I love how far I have came with my band and I am even more excited to see what I will be able to do in the future with the band but sometimes I just wish I could eat normal again. I hate that I just cant grab something to eat and go I have to make sure its going to go down. Iam also having trouble finding veggies and fruits that work with my band any suggestions on what goes down easy or good side dishes?
  12. I have had my band for almost 7 months and I have not had any hair loss.
  13. You look great! congratulation=)

  23. I'm feeling good this morning, the gas was kinda bad but the heating pad has been my best friend. I have Christmas later with one side of the family and I'm not worried at all I'll just eat some soup. I made Christmas cookies last night and was not tempted at all. I'm so excited for this stage to be over so I can start working on losing the weight. Merry Christmas everyone!
