I too had lapband surgery on 9/27/12 and had my port revision yesterday I'm just wondering when will I be able to go back to work.

I got banded two weeks ago and any thing I drunk tried to come back up, my doctor gave me something for spasm and the next day it stopped. But after three tries of trying to consume liquids I gave up and just sucked ice. The next morning I didnt have that problem.. Banded 9-27 -

Im still having pain where my hernia was repaired but my stomach pain went away around day five. My throat was really sore from the tube so the ice help my throat and help me get my fluids. Today is the first day I could drink and get all my Proteins and fluids in. Banded 9-27

U can also try sucking ice that really help me alot. Banded 9-27

My diet is 2weeks of full liquids, then 2weeks of soft/mushy, and then after a normal diet.

I am five days post op and was wondering the same thing I stop smoking cigs when i started my pre op diet but last night I smoke my first cig and it helped me use the bathroom(tmi) anf get rid of alot of gas.

Hi im 22 and I just had surgery on 9-27 its been rough this first week but I would't trade it for anything. I have alreadu lost 30 lbs including my pre op. Good luck with your journey. -

Hi im 6 days post out and I live in Henrico, I had my surgery at St. Mary's hospital they have the best staff and best support groups. -
I got banded 4 days ago and up until today it has been great I lost 20 lbs on my 2 wk pre-op diet and I have been getting in alot of fluids, but I have a lot of gas in my chest and its hurting bad, can anyone help me or give me some advice?
