  1. Congrats! I am 1.5 pounds away from mine! But....I want to go for 20-30 more!
  2. Yes. I actually had more put in right before the holidays cause it seemed loose again but it was just too much so i had it unfilled and am back to 10.7.... Everyone is so different though. All i can say is when you get to that sweet spot you will definately know. Be aggresive and gets fills every month until you do. Ive lost the majority of my weight only within the last year .
  3. Just thought i would share that i am headed to a new years eve zumba class before the partying starts! Take that 2012!!! (And i even found one for tomorow so i can start my 2013 off right!!)
  4. Not incomplete! NSV to be continued you still came a long way from where you started, so good job! You'll do it!!
  5. Was what I used to tell people! But last night I took a boot camp style exercise class and ran with no problems for about 10 minutes as our warmup. I am so proud of myself! It was easy and I kept up with everyone else no prob. I never thought I would run.. Ever! NSV !!
  6. I was at 1000 calories forever, with protien first and then veggies and then carbs. Now that im down to the last 30 pounds and working out a ton i upped it to 1100-1200 with more protein and carbs and am still losing weight. I snack on just a few crackers when i want a crunchy salty fix and it all stays within my diet guidelines and makes me feel like im not depriving myself of anything
  7. So true Jean! I was at my wits end... I just kept thinking this darn thing doesnt work !
  8. Hey experts. I'm attempting my first day on this and after reading all the posts and my notes the only thing I can't seem to find ( and maybe I just missed it) is the approximate amount of fat grams most of you are trying to stick with on high carb days...I think I got on Low carb days 30-35 carbs and no more than 50 grams of Fat, and on high carb days=up to 240 carbs but how much fat? Thanks in advance...
  9. U need to talk to your dr. Each one is different and each person responds differently until you find your own individual sweet spot.
  10. I got .1cc a fee weeks ago after being at my sweet spot for over a year and it was just too much. Ended up getting unfilled a little today as a result. A good example that any amount can make a difference.
  11. Good grief! I probably would have made a smartass remark! Some people! Ughh! Good job!!!!
  12. Your tongue maybe irritated from the citric acid in the crystal light . Ive heard of several lap band people developing sensativity to it because they were drinking so much.
  13. 36 mg daily, during aunt flo 54. Take with 500mg to increase absorption. I take barriatric advantage chewable iron
  14. Got my first fill in over a year. When i last got filled i weighed 257, when i got filled last friday i weighed 174 The last fill was 10.4 cc in a 11cc band and i really didnt lose anything until several months later this past may. Now i am filled to 10.5 and was so worried as it was pretty darn tight. (I previously had one unfill at 10.7). But as of today it seems to be back to my sweet spot. Nurse agreed it may have started to feel looser since i had lost quite a bit since last time so less fat was pressing in on it. This past july i started riding my little cruiser bike 15 miles 6 days a week and counting my calories religiously (1000 a day). Now i do zumba 6 days a week and still at 1000 calories and really trying to up my Protein. If all goes as planned i will hit my original goal of 160 on my bday in december! However i decided to go for the goal and try for another 20 after the first of the year. Wish me luck!!!

  17. Ok i just put the recipie into my Lose It program and here is the nutritional info: 464 calories, 63 carbs, 10.4 fat and 34 grams if protein (by my rough calculations) and that is with my protein powder that was 140 calories and mixed with water, almond milk is probably better though (40 more calories with the one i use)
  18. I get cravings all the time still. 122 pounds gone in about two years. Candy and sweets still call my name every day but i just dont do it! Ive come too far. What has saved me so far is diet hot cocoa every night and a popscicle every day. They give me enough of a sweet fix that curbs my cravings and they are low enough in calories that i can even have seconds if i need to.
  19. Wow! I am going to try this. Ive been struggling to lose my last 15... 122 down so far but keep losing and gaining the same 3 pounds and i definately have been slacking on fruits and greens.
