First I would like to say congrats. The for me was minimal i was sleeved 10/29 and today I am just now feeling myself. I allowed myself no activity until after my post op doc appointment which was the 7th and he only cleared me to drive. He said about 3 mos. post op for certain activity please check with your doc. The only advice I have do not rush it, take your time and rest so when you do return to your life you will be healthy and strong. Good luck

Sry you are feeling defeated, but there is hope i am a bcbs *** patient my surgery date is 10/29. There is always more than one way to skin a cat. You have to be proactive use the internet find doctors in your area that do the sleeve, hospital affilication etc. Then go back to your pcp with a name of the person you want the referral to go to. My pcp did not initially refer me my hip doc(who i see every 2 yrs) suggested a docs name. Work it that way. Dont give up keep fighting your current insurance you have does pay i received a copy of bcbs medical policy under type its called "Medical Necessity and Investigational/Experimental original policy date 4/14/70 revision date 4/1/11. Good luck

Take a deep breath I know how bad you want and need this procedure, but you want them to be as cautious as possible. You want your surgery to go smooth as possible, and so do they. It will happen good luck I have not gotten a surgery date yet, but I am looking somewhere in Oct. But I dont know your religious but the word of God says be anixious for nothing. Better safe than sorry. If you want to speak offline I have not idea how that works. Good luck
