Surgery date 10/29 lost 40 lbs 25 inches no real issues getting used to new life style. Was having trouble with walking pulled out my insurance letter I had to submit to insurance to hve the surgery, it got me on track. Getting protein and water in always a challenge, I can eat everything but raw veggies, although I don't try everything.FYI my sleeve loves wench's Chili that is my go to. Good luck oh I only weigh one a month helps me not obese.

The gamer What was the name of your joint inflammation meds? My doc says that he thinks with the weight loss it will get better but until then I take a pain pill and continue to move. I go to a chiropractor to adjust me as I lose, but I really need to strengthen my core. My blood pressure meds are half now. Wendy's Chili has saved my life my nut says its ok a lot of wls patients eat it your tummy loves it fyi. Be blessed all.

Kaykay It will get better but you must get protein and water in. Have u talked to your doc regarding this issue, Pls call your doc you do not want to the back to hospital or hve additional surgery. Good luck

My concern for u is real. Have you been tested for blood clots? One of the symtombs is shortness of breath, pls go get checked out. I had them and days later my lungs closed luckily o was already in hospital bein treated for clots pls check it out. Had I waited I would hve been dead

Tbaby there is no scripture for elective surgery in the word. But if u believe that god directs your life, every phase of this process should be lifted up in prayer. I ask the lord his will be done, not mine and block it if it were not for me. I had surgery on 10/29 mininmal pain, no clots or leaks this is truly a gift. For our bodies are his temple and I am forever grateful to god for the gift. Be blessed

I was sleeved on10/29 and to tell u the truth I am feeling good now, prior I was so tired and I needed to b able to take my naps in the afteroon. Remember major surgery it took me bit to get back in the groove, everyone is different your body needs rest to heal. Good luck

I am a sleeved 6 weeks out and this week had a dumping experience foaming and then dry heave then expelled white stuff, my friend who had bypass over one year out had same experience I think you are incorrect. Call it what u want sleevers can experience a dumping episode if the stomach does not like what we give it

Ok my hip surgeon said as the weight goes down the less pain I had hip replacement in right hip now acting up in left hip good luck

I am over one month post op. I started a little at a time it took me honestly one month just to feel half good.I am just now walking 20 mintues working and reaching for 30 plus min. Today I worked 30 min in the pool. Take your time listen to your body when u need to rest and sleep Do it. Your body is healing, don't stress in your timing. As long as you get water and proteins in u are good to go. Your doc knows the more u move the better, so breath deep do the best you can it will work. Heck I am not doing a mile yet but I will. Liz I am sso sorry it will get so much better I know its hard right now MRSA is airborne theyt est everyone they found it in my husbands nose. Thank God they found it they will probley put u on antibiotics I just said a prayer for u i know God hears my prayers just know you hve people who care about u and although you cant see us we here mighty in number and we will be your strength and get u through you are almost there. Oops wwhich is everything but raw fruits and veggies, don't know if I will be able to hve carbs yet will see nut tomorrow. I am grateful to God for this procedure, working out almost 5 days a week but I am never hungry and trying as many new foods as possible. Was sleeved on 10/29/12 all is well I have lost 21 plus pounds not really sure I only weigh once a month (end of month) . No major concerns but I do hve to b aware of when I am full, sometimes get foaming if I eat tofast it is a challenge to get all required protein in. This week I will b on stage 3/4

I had to get the gas x bills ( the r real small) worked better than strips, I burn but not much 1 month out

Surgery 10/29 all is well. Nov lost 21lbs. Daily improving I am committed to the process and attend and speak at support group. I am so greatful we hve all been given a chance at life. Keep up good work, I am proud of all of you.

Yes along with walking at first my leg hurt a lot, since I have been walking daily about a18 min (working my way up) I have to say it helps I do have author in my hip but man is it better I get the liquid tylenol for sore throat yes sore throat. I ask the pharmists why sore throat she says its the strongest dose for adults since its hard to find liquid tylenol for adults. I will even take it on days I do not walk not everyday but I think the walking and weight loss is helping. I really had it bad when I would lay in my bed the pain literally wake me up. Hopefully this info will help keep me posted

Just want to say u r blessed 4 yrs ago after hip replacement I was home having problems breathing went to er they found 18 clots in rt lung and stop counting in lt lung, I had surgery on 11/29 my surgeon requires everyone to do. Shots for 14 days after surgery. My clot 4 years ago was discovered 4 weeks after surgery. You will do great just watch out for shortness of breath, leg soreness or them feeling hot go to er immediately. Good luck it will get better.
