Well went to my appt. and I will be having the surgery on Nov. 16th!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!! The doctor said I could take my NSAID drugs as well!!!

Congratulations!! You must be very excited. I had to do a 6 month monitored diet not to mention all the other stuff that had to be done. It felt like the date would never arrive but in the blink of an eye it is here and gone. My 5 month surgery anniversary was last week.

Hey guys I noticed some of you we're in my area and I'm having my surgery on Nov 16th by Dr. Adam Smith at Fort Worth Lap-Band!!! So nervous and excited!!

So I will be banded on Nov. 16th!!! Woo Hoo!!! 2 wk liquid diet will be tough, but soooo worth it!!!!

Glad to hear!! I've been reading on it and it says that persons with autoimmune diseases should not get lap-band. I really want to get it though! Are you on medication for your arthritis?

Hey I'm Anna and want to get lap band. I have an appointment tomorrow at Fort Worth Lap-Band here in Texas. My insurance will not cover it, so I will have to finance it my self. I'm 31 and have Rheumatoid and over weight by about 80lbs. I was wondering if anyone here has had RA and had got lap-band?
