  1. Lulu, I'm beginning to think you must be married to my brother because your MIL sounds like my MOTHER!
  2. Happy belated birthday Crzytchr! Once you start getting some restriction from the fills, the morning eating seems to be out. Most people can't handle anything but liquids until lunch time. I got for my 5th fill tomorrow. I hope it gives me some more restriction as I can eat just about anything (nothing gets stuck unless I eat too fast) and I can eat way more than 2 cups of food at a sitting. Although I don't feel I have much restriction and I'm eating way less food than I used to eat, I also don't feel hungry like I used to; in fact I'm rarely hungry these days even if I skip meals. Down side, I am not losing, but at leat I am not gaining. I really think at this point, it's going to have to be exercise for me.
  3. It could be argued that it was Britney's fame and fortune that caused her downfall in the first place. We can't look back and we don't know what's to come so all we can do is deal with what IS.

I don't have either at the moment but I've been meaning to set up a facebook. I have family members asking me to create it so that we can "friend" and share pics of the kids and latest news.
  5. I have no weight gain to report, but no loss either. It seems I'm holding steady and can't break the 190. I've been fluctuating between 190 and 192 for the past month. I get a 5th fill tomorrow so I'm hoping that will really kick it off.

BBK, where are you? I haven't seen one of your posts in quite a while.
  7. Kat, my pies come from the bakery--I know it's not the same as smelling them bake in the oven but it sure is a lot less labor intensive and a hell of a lot better than anything I could bake.
  8. Heather, it's 10% band and 90% you. YOU did this! You inspire me.
  9. I can use a glass myself but it seems I have all the kids from the neighborhood in my backyard and I don't want them running home and telling their mommies that Sedona's mom drinks grape juice but won't give them any. LOL
  10. Include yourself in that "wonderful set of women" and let's not forget our token man. Yes, Plain, we're talking about you behind your back again.
  11. WOW Heather, to be losing while you have such a precious bundle growing is amazing; especially in light of the fact that at a BMI of 25 you are no longer considered overweight. You have reached the land of "NORMAL"! Congrats on a fantastical year! You've achieved a lot this year.
  12. My son has ADHD and his elementary years were pure hell on earth. The only way we got through it was through the dedication of a couple of teachers who believed in him and poured their sweat, blood and tears to get him through. I'm tearing up thinking about it now. He's in high school now in advanced classes and making straight As. I ran into one of those teachers at my daughter's elementary school a couple of months ago and we teared up together at how successful Philip is now. Thank you on behalf of mothers everywhere for all you do for our students!
  13. Karri, do you work at a public high school? I don't recall any of my high school teachers being even half as dedicated as you. Your students are very fortunate to have you.
  14. Sending out a big WOOT to all the wonderful hubbies, wives and SOs out there! I'm blessed with a wonderful husband who treated me like a princess while we were dating and treats me like his queen now that we're married (9 years and going strong). In our house, we often say Daddy's King, Mommy's Queen, Prince Philip and Princess Sedona. We're all royalty in our house and our home is our castle. It's the place where we're the happiest and it's always a safe haven from the world when the world gets to be too much--as it is wont to do from time to time.
  15. Have a Happy Thanksgiving all!
  16. I plagiarized it from a billboard on Highwy 59. It's so good I've been looking for an opportunity to use it.
  17. Some pretty heavy stuff... I'm sorry Kat and Beth you two had to go through something like that but thankfully you're out of it now and in loving relationships where you are valued. You have lots to be thankful for this year.
  18. WOW! It must bring out all kinds of emotions in you when you look through your weight loss album. You're literally 1/2 the size you used to be but I bet you're twice the woman.
  19. I'm sorry Beth. I delayed my fill until next Tuesday so that I could enjoy the Thanksgiving dinner. I have virtually no restriction at all. My mouth might appreciate the delay in the fill but my scales will probably laugh menacingly at me after this weekend. Sigh - oh well; it's all a matter of choices, isn't it?
  20. SMS, I repeat, the Tribe has spoken, BF must leave the island!
  21. I have the maddest girl crush on her! I think she is the hottest woman on the planet.
  22. This is their way of getting back at you for taking a month off to have surgery. Wow, it sounds like I resent your time off more than your co-workers. LOL
  23. The craziest part of it all is that I can actually picture you doing all of those things!
  24. So, shall we address your issues, Plain? I seem to recall that you had a penchant for eating cheetos in the nude whilst providing online therapy to desperate overweight women.
